Firstly, The black visor is a DIY job by myself . Very simple get a gloss black spray paint +Take off the visor + Paint it inside out + Fix it back = SUPER COOL looks !

Iam planning to install HID with projectors. I want to know what all things i need to take care. Do i need to change the stock battery ? Which bulb will be the best to buy? I prefer to buy blue color light.

Also please tell me which is the best place in bangalore to have this done.

          Thanks in advance.
HID's on a stock reflector is a night mare for the opposite riders , opt for projectors if you can .

I personally have projectors in my ride , as for battery issue's there is nothing to be worried other than some small conditions like
          1. try to be above 3500RPM .
          2. switch off them when you idle in traffic .
          3. NEVER turn them on while bike is not started .
          4. Use low beam if possible which will tend to reduce the load on battery .

There are hell lot of brands in market , Chinese ones and branded ones
Chinese have a price range starting from 2.5 for a pair
and branded ones have a price range above 5k

There is also colour temperature to be noted in mind . Ranging from 4300k to 8000k are usable . As the temperature goes up , bluish light is produced.

As i am from chennai . I cant comment on your last question .

that bike created a style statement .. and name for yamaha in india ....

but they offer very less graphic and color options compared to fz or fazer .....

you can buy the cowl from your local yamaha SVC.but i will not recommend the one yamaha is selling as it is of poor quality and high on price you can for half the price can get a cowl made from your local fabricator.

                      Thanks Akshay for the reply.

I will be installing the HID's ofcourse with projectors . But will i get those as a set or do i need to buy the HID blue bulb (2 nos.) and projectors separately.

HID bulbs of which company is better for affordable price ?

Guys if anyone know which is the best shops in bangalore to have this done please let me know !!!
A bike is only as bad as it's worst rider.

Good to know that u aren't planing for night mare for others There are Projectors separately in market were u need to source the supporting HID bulbs . But its a complicated and end result will be good only if it is done by expert which in turn is very rare in our places .

second option , Which is best as for as i concern and which i personally opted for is buying a retro fit projectors which has inbuilt HID bulbs and is plug and play type .

A lot of dealers import them, HID kits, HID projectors, projector headlights, HID lights --Kingtech Auto Parts Co., Limited Official website --Powered by MetInfo

If you can source out one of these from a local vendor it would be hassle free

I bought mine for Rs.6500 (with installation) in chennai .

can it be used for pass function? because HIDs take time to warm up.

The answer to your question is yes and no , HID's do take time to reach to there full potential it takes nearly around 4 to 5 seconds though it depends on various factors like brand and bulb type's.

If you use pass without running the lights for some period of time ,then u may not be able to flash though small amount of light appears.
Example - while driving in daytime were we dont use HID's.

You may use the pass once the bulbs are warmed up and was switched off .
Example - while stuck in traffic and the bulbs are switched off so it reduce's load on battery then you may use the pass as its warmed up and ready.

                              THANKS I got it now
now what I want to ask is if I use a H4-2 bulb with high-halogen and low-xenon, will I be able to flash for pass(with bright light)?
any place where I can get only the projectoe lens without the bulb?

P.S.: sorry to all if it is OT here.
