      4) Press the button once, when you see trip 1, press again but don't release, after 4-5 seconds it will reset.

        • Stalling below 3k - Resolved!

The SC guys had replaced the Adapter that comes with spark plug during my service, but that made no difference.

The problem has been resolved now when the distance between the Adapter and Spark plug was corrected (correct me if am wrong, this is what i was able to make out from what the Sc guy said).

Thanks to harjotR15 & speedemon, whose posts made me get a better idea on the cause of this problem; gave me peace beforehand

I have a strange problem, when i come below 3k rpm, the bike behaves as tho there is a blockage in the fuel. This does not happen on a cold engine, it moves smooth. This happens only after i travel 4-5kms. Its very hard to travel in traffic or crowded streets with this problem where one cannot rev more than 3k rpm. Even on the first gear i cannot travel in less speeds. Even with half clutch acceleration, this happens and the engine stopped twice last night.

What might be the reason for this problem ?

I would be pointing out this during my first service. But wonder what would be the source for this problem. Experts, pls throw some light on this !!

please let me know what might be the cause and did any owner have experienced it before.

I had the same problem and the solution is very simple.
You need to get the Spark Plug Cover(Black in colour) replaced. It costs around 75 bucks and happens generally during rains.

This problem is common during the monsoons, I have changed it thrice now in two years. Costs just Rs76/- so won't hurt your pocket.

                  • My bike's battery is dead after 1.5 years of use. I don't have much time to get it replaced till a couple of days. Does push-starting a fuel injected bike cause any long term problems?
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

                      waiting period 20-25 days, onroad - 126,540(mysore)

black is out of the equation, my decision is between red and blue. For the time being i booked a blue one.

i absolutely love the RED one:

but does the white underpiece get muddy/dirty easily from dust/dirt thrown from the front tyre ?

whoever has taken sunset red, please help me out on this.

but chain treatment is mandatory after every 500KM.. clean it,lube it and you are ready again, for reviving hard..
gear shift hard, jerk on upshifting.. chain treatment..

                        happy revving..

check your oil level, if is fine then best get to the svc and have it checked out, other than this to have a smooth ride keep your drive chain lubed and have the slackness checked periodically. Even one ride in the rain can wash away some of the lube, so get that checked.....
No its not about speed, its about turning and shifting those gears!

                              hey there!
i took my r15 from JMB anna nagar. T-Nagar JMB is the HQ.
                              anyway coming to the point:
                              1. look for scratches on body panels, check electricals, if possible check the oil levels also. While taking delivery i had my front wheel assembly changed since it had paint marks(whitewash) all over it.

2.A teflon coating needs to be done but i'd suggest you get this done from some place else cos JMB says it does it but now i feel they have charged me for something that hasnt been done on the bike.

                              3. I'd suggest you get your bike serviced from some other dealer, i changed my SVC after the second service since i wasnt satisfied with the quality of the work done at JMB.
No its not about speed, its about turning and shifting those gears!
