BTW, guys, Venkatesha Motors quoted the center stand price @ Rs700. That's a little higher I believe... around 400-500 would be a good deal.

I got front disc brake pads today (out of stock at most places) for Rs 685. (that's the MRP Printed on the box)

There's another box inside the first one and that comes from Yamaha Motors Singapore and reads Made in Indonesia. Reminds me of the oil filter packing! The pads inside read AK V2527 FF 8 x 17. This is made by Alco Brake Pads Ltd (as per the Brake Friction Material Catalog by Automotive Manufacturers Equipment Compliance Agency).

Guys.. can anyone find out if Yamaha dealers ANYWHERE throughout the country have a stock of this particular part?:

Water Pump cover housing
Part number: 3C1-E2422-00

Mine got a small hole through it when I fell recently..and no SS at Hyderabad stocks these since it's a rare part..and Pearl Yamaha guys say they've placed an order. But an order for Yamaha takes MONTHS to get delivered..know this from personal experience

Any help guys?? I need all the help that you can offer me at the moment :|

Do you know the cost,type of bulb required and whether they fit the HID kit also?
the Got HID Xenon? We have 4300K 6000K 8000K 10000K 12000K 15000K 30000K Kits and replacement bulbs. website mentions the Kelvin value of the HID bike
kits but no mention of the wattage,any suggestions?the mailing charge to INDIA is $30 and kit costs about $80.
Has anyone recieved the kit safely from USA by post?

Anyone R15 Owner from Hyderabad looking for front Disc Pads?

At the moment availability of this spare is difficult. I have one piece reserved for me at a place but I already have got one. If you want it PM/call me. It will be available for me to pickup until Monday. Rs 685 was the price I paid for the one I bought and this should cost the same.

the kits that they have are of 10000k type which is an overkill.Anything between 4300k to 6000k is ideal.They said they could get a 6000k unit though.
Price they quoted between 2500 for the low beam type and 3500 for high low type.

Crash bobbins/frame sliders

Has anyone installed crash bobbins/frame sliders on their R15?? My friend's bike was bumped into the parking lot by some idiot and has suffered damages to the fairing

. And this is not the first time, so he wants to get something installed instead of paying up for the follies of others. Any help would be appreciated.

This is the 'temporary' stand, used in the svc. Its basically the same stand as for the RX100! Cost me 230 bucks:

So the permanent stand will most probably have a spring to hold it in place, and maybe revised dimensions to keep good ground clearence. Really excited about the perf. kits and the 250 waiting in the wings. Hope its not a rumour pe rumour

. And as far as I knew the Ride tech challenges are not races, but simple stuff like riding through an obstacle course, a slow race, where slowest one wins, etc.... Had happened in Kolkata once. Anyways waiting for that too.

I went lube my R15's chain to Pearl Yamaha, Kukatpally...

I saw those guyz fixing a center stand to R15, And it was very different from the above to pics...

He said that it's specifically made for R15 and costs 800/-

dont know why all the metallic parts are expensive on R15

Great...so it has arrived at Pearl Kukatpally even before Pearl Gachibowli. Expected it to be priced at atleast 700. Can't wait for mine!

Yeah, Thought of getting it changed, But remember that i was hit be recession...

TO DO list on my bike...Done 10200kms.

1. Change rear disc pads
2. Get a Center stand fixed.
3. Get a MOTUL chain lube and clean.
4. NGK sparkplug
5. Motul 300v
6. and thinking of IRC 120/70..

..But prefer stock tires.
