Ride safe saar.. And try to ride some other bikes. You can ride the R1s, CBRs etc etc here also. Try to get hold of some Buells, BMWs, Victorys etc.

Kind of similar experience on my R15 too, When i take leaning turns at low speeds say 30-40kmph (during left turns) i feel rim has bent, i feel it as kind of bump. No sure thought. I guess I can check it again ofter chanind the FORK oil.

And coming to Chain, Its been common to all, It makes sounds even if its cleaned, lubed and adjusted. I get rear and front sprocket cleaned everytime, Its good for 200-250kms...then Sounds come back.

BTW...Running on Semi-Synthetic, I m feling bike more relaxed and little bit silent too.

Dont leave it like that. Create a ruckus and sort it out. Its after all their mistake that needs to be rectified now. Exactly same issue on Jovin's vehicle.

Yeah, I will be writing a good e-mail to Yamaha shortly, About the naggin issues on R15 and EXCELLENT service they provide with pathetic and INCOMPETENT service people.

I will write clearly that, I would not like any service center guy to touch my bike while resolving those problems.

I am complaining them that there is fall in my bike's pickup, And that service center guys ADJUSTs clutch cable and say to check the pickup now

And another rude shock, I said that there seems to be some tappet noise, Please adjust that. And guess what reply i got from the Service delivery guy.....Pointing at Handle, He says "Do fwe ind Tappets here"

We can say that Bike's Engine has been doing excellent Job, But all this goes in vain with fork and suspension problem and added service center pblms.

Got that strip from the market, cut it by about 1.5" to fit the size and then stuck it on. Just pushed the wires into brake light socket under the sear (no cutting or taping.) The wires got loose twice so far and I just pushed them back in... I think I bought it for Rs 180 - yes, should have got it for lesser but realized only after I bought it.

My purpose was to have some extra light so that it is clearly visible to the vehicle behind me when I brake. R15 is a low bike and the tail lamp is more towards the ground than facing the rear... We drive with pilot lamps or sometimes headlamps on during day time too... when I brake, it is difficult for the vehicle behind me to identify the difference in intensity of the tail lamp in sun light... I had cars, jeeps, SUV's and busses coming on even after I apply brakes... but this LED strip helps.
                              Thats a nice one.
Whats its name? Jus LED Strip ??
How u got it on ur silencer?
Is it attached to the battery? Plz give me details of installations.
Does it blink only when u apply brakes or always?

And these guys I guess have not replaced it yet on my bike. Have to push them for it..... So much for the product quality of the famed Yamaha!
Hey, you got your fork worked up recently right? In that case, I'm expecting a loosening of the fork at the yoke plate. I've been through a similar situation after I got my fork worked up too. It was okay for one day..but then slowly started showing signs which you described. And I made out it's cos of the play in the fork cos of the loose nut, went straight to the SS and got it tightened. And everything got solved after that

The morale is that the fork set seems to be tight enough whenever it's been overhauled, but then it beds in upon usage, causing a slight gap and thus causing play..which needs to be tightened again.
                                Sunny.
