This has been discusses a lot of times on the forum. Its a common phenomenon. Fuel evaporates and the vapours build up some pressure inside the tank. And these vapours escape from a hole and that causes the sound. Just open the fuel tank once and close it, the sound should stop.

Haha..!! Nice one bro!Originally posted by Tha~Punk-chetan View Postpersonally i like that sound....its like shes trying to talk to you

I'm sure you (& the rest of us too) want those interactions to remain few and far between..
@All:
1. I have realised how important it is to maintain the optimum tyre pressure on the R15. Until Saturday, I found the bike a bit twitchy in cornering & sometimes in straight-line! Got the tyre re-inflated yest morning (1st time since I took delivery 10 days ago).. & it handles like a dream now! Ran it some 30KMs on the highway after that (albeit below 60Kmph, bacause of the run-in)..
The amzing performace of the bike is encouraging me to run it in, in the best posible way..!!
2. I was also wondering if the SVC would accept my bike for 1st service (using 1st service coupon only), say if I give it at 1100KMs & 28 days (the service interval in the manual being 30 days or 1000KMs, whichever is earlier)? (you may find this query of mine a bit stupid, but pls do reply
)

My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Headlight beam adjuster
Hi all,
Have anyone got your headlight beam adjusted? I wanna get it adjusted. The beam spread is too much it falls about half a km but not powerful
. I wanna adjust it so that it falls around 5-10 mts but has to be bright.
Any suggestion?Life's a Challenge

There are three screws to adjust the headlight. One is near to the pilot lamp cover and the other is below the fibre/plastic matte piece. Somewhere in this thread ( around the initial pages of the this thread), there are pictures of it.

Yeah, I find that this bike needs very precise paramaters to perform impeccably. The air pressure, the load, the fuel weight etc.Originally posted by tibby View Post1. Now with better handling, performance, you'll also see a noticeable increase in fuel economy!
@ Jadhav- Yeah, there are three screws to adjust the headlights, but I guess your problem is regarding the vertical light throw (it being too high), so the screw on the outside, just next to the pilot light cover should do the trick.You get the point?? :D

1week experience
She kept impressing me as days went by
...but now this irritating rain
..is not allowing me to take her for a ride.. covered 560km , as per the users manual,after 500km,the engine can be revved up to 7500rpm,i touched 100kmph at 6400rpm
...but felt that the engine was a bit noisy at that speed..and also people were staring
at me...should I keep the engine speed under 5000rpm till 1000km?? And I installed two new accessories,the tank protector and the handle center bolt...are there any accessories that may improve the performance...and also pls suggest some accessories that you think would improve the looks....

AFAIK Yamaha has become very strict with these free service.... it would be good if you stick to your 1000 KMs plan.. a lil bit of here and there should be ok but!

Does anyone here know how to open an R15's HeadLamp assembly? I need to open one. Headlights can normally be put in the oven for a few minutes, but the R15's is too big to fit in one!
Any ideas or suggestions?
Sunny.
