after monday and tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!!

Definately -- if by racing stand you mean the paddock stand. If your bike is going to be parked in the open there is a strong possibility of wind which will tip your bike over (being a light weight bike) i experienced it !
Step up right up ladies and gentlemen.

                • Veyron: About downshifting IMO you can downshift at one go the engine can take this much of abuse, but whenever you can, you should engage the clutch every time when slowing down.

                  • Just needed some info.

My Bikes 4 months old. Clocked 9200km.

Do I need Tappet Adjustment?? How do I reealize if I need it?

What about Motul Engine oils? What grade is suitable for the R15?

                    and

Since some of you were complaining about the headlight focus and spread. Just get it adjusted yourself or in SVC.

Mine was done, and the result is noticable. Much Much Better than before.

                    • @Veyron: You can downshift all gears at one go, without releasing the clutch in between. All of us do that.

If your bike's tappets are loose, you will hear a loose marbles kind of sound from the engine when your bike is idling.
I haven't faced this issue yet in 10k Kms & exactly 1 year (today is my bike's 1st anniversary ).

                      My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

all motorcycles need to have an adjustment of tappets, it is just that R15 being a revvy m'cycle requires it more(say every 8-10K)
                        my zma is 27000kms old

i get my tappet adjusted every 3k kms as a ritual. i like to rev my bike hard. so loose tappet is a menace.sometimes i get it done from two different svcs to make sure that i am not fooled.
