  • r15 wakes after 6000RPM, below it it's just a bike that will take you to the point B from A, but once past 6000RPM, you cant stop smiling...

iirc the mags have tested both bikes to about 132-135kmph for the R15 and 134-135 for the P220 ( the FI one, not the carb ). The carb 220 has been tested to 138-139 easy.

Dont want to go the the possibility part here, But I think its not at all advisable. you would loose power, mileage and above all handling qualities of the bike.

Size of P220? show some respect for the money you have spend dude

it is not advicable to upsize your tyre.
bikes handling dynamics highly depend on the tyres, and they are best when on stock size.
but if you realy want to upsize it, one size up is ok because it donot mess with the bike performance largly.

                • @vrroom: I guess others have already answered your questions, here is my input on the stands-you have 3 options available:
                  1. Permanent center stand made for R15: Rs.750 odd, check pic here: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post177772
                  2. Paddock racing stand Rs.1500 check pic here: xBhp.com : The Global Indian Biking Community - Sarvajit's Album: My Bikes - Picture
                  3. RX 100 stand temporary Rs.200 or so.
Take your pick! I had the paddock stand initially but later (after my bike got tipped over by some meddlesome person in my building) when the mainstand was released, I opted for it, as it helps me to park in my congested office parking lot.

It took me a while to realize that, but by then the run-in period was already over!
But then later I started shifting at minimum 4.5K RPM. I have noticed off late that the bike does not really respond well below that RPM!

you can upgrade your rear tyre to Mrf Zapper Vyde 120/80 tubless , its again a soft compound tyre and works very well !! leave the front as it is , any upgrade in front heavy and you could face difficulty in handeling the bike ...

Its actually happening on both the brakes. I know how to fix the rear one, need help with the front brakes.

Why not get em out and scuff the surface with some sand paper? and whats the tip to set it for the rear discpad, would be keen to know

(seems like I have grossly mis read the question)

thanks for the Info for the front pads, will try that and see if it helps
For the rear its I've noticed the axel to be slightly deflected in the horizontal plane. Like the count on the left and the right side of the swingarm, if different causes the same. The deflection of the axel causes the wheel to spin in a deflected vertical plane which further results in the disc touching the pads.
Takes time while doing it alone, cos you've got to ensure to tightening the axel nuts exactly where required. But got that fixed over night
