Hi everyone and yes I said it right "ABS saved MY LIFE". actually in the incidence which happened 3 days prior , I saved A obnoxious Girl who happen to jump in between the flyover (I hope you all get the point , since on a flyover there's not a possibility that some one would ever cross the road since its elevated ) and this was my first day with ABS , OMG what to do next I inadvertently jabbed the brakes (front with rather more pressure on it ) and to my astonishment this thing works , I really dont care what others say THIS thing gives you a very strong and controlled braking, my bike was stable like a rock while i braked from around 65Kmph in a matter of 3bikes length with a pillion while its still raining. You know what , what happened next is just kinda nightmare this guy with CBZ X-treme at the back which was still far away (say abou 5-6 bike lengths) could not handle the situation and hit my babe 15 (WTF..@!#$%) but you know what he got his headlight assembly completely broken with right leg gard completely bent +front T-bar bent...and he manged all this with a minor fracture(I hope and pray) in left hand index finger and a pinkie.
Bros I have driven bikes since long and I know many of you also have but truly this thing works, this worked for me, It saved that poor girls Life (though it was completely her mistake and truly her sorry's and sobbs cant take any of our miseries back but then she learned an imp lesson ).
I was about to post evry pic related to this accident and ABS and my broken things but never matter. The point I wanna make here is that ABS works and you know what when you are on the road or track somethings small like (ABS worth around 1675 INR for the front & rear calipers ) is any day a price one (or at-least I)could live with when you understand the importance of braking it might save LIFe or Time everythings worth it.
BTW I must tell you I was very very strongly skeptical about ABS before installing it, mine is as otheres may say cheap china one but hey I just beg to differ that how on earth can the quality be so diff much of difference when the thing I have is full Aluminum anodized unit which just manipulates fluid mechanism. More of I have seen it, that this thing increases your braking and stability by almost 25-45% for sure.
With no intentions to brag or something, I must tell you that I honed 1st position in Novice class in Track racing on a stock R15, so you may assume that i know at least some in and outs in braking...
