    hi i need some help!!!
    yesterday i skidded in the rain and fell... was goin very slow (30 kmph) so i am ship shape
    my bike is fine, but the problem is with the fairing front panel which is damaged... how much is it gonna cost?? do i have to replace the whole fairing assembly???

    plz reply fast someone!!!

      hii..nice to hear that you are alright
      for your bike's damage you can surf few pages back, you will come to the cost of fairing.....

          Well today i actually tested the lean sensor in the bike..
          Though not intentionally

          Actually, i was taking a U-turn really slow when all of a sudden this pig runs across and i hit the brakes really hard and the jammed up making me lose balance..
          Speed was ZERO so no damage to me or the bike..
          I got up picked it up and only then realized that the engine was off and the light was glowing..
          Got really scared as to did i do some bad internal damage or something..

          Pushed the bike to the side of the road, Prayed and then turned the key and vola... everything was ok..
          Only later did i realize that it was because of the lean sensor that shuts off the engine to prevent damage..

            The Front Headlight cowl is Rs 388/- and around for the Old Yamaha Blue! The New Yamaha Blue Cowl with the R15 Sticker and White Stripe Sticker is Rs 580+. If you are on the New colour series, the Price would hover around Rs 580+ itself. Mirror is Rs 251/- and The Side Panels, with the Sticker and R15 written come for Rs 575/-. All the Best!

                Small dent on my tank

                Hi guys,

                I got a small dent on my R15 tank. It happened when I parked the bike & obviously some1 else hit the tank while taking his bike out. However it s a very small dent.

                I live in Bangalore. Can any1 tell me how can I fix this and how much will it cost?

                  Yes, the radiator operates at 90+ degrees, when it start you will feel liitle hot air comming from the slider gap and if you touch on tank, you feel the liitle vibration.

                  In most of time, I get notice it when I was in traffic.

                      Bike is approaching 15k kms. Have noticed that the chain tends to get loose every 500 kms or so. Is it a known problem ?

                        is it on the last setting now?.Mostly you need a change of chain sprocket.

                        mine was changed at 25k due to same reason.15k tough seems to be a bit less .

                              It should be alright man, dont go all-out full accelerator burst in each gear, take it a lil easy in the lower gears and then rip it in 4th and above. The idea is not to stress the engine too much when its so new.

                              A friend of mine gave his 2 day old bike to a guy to ride and he belted the bike for about 2km and came back. Friend was damn pissed, but found his bike smoother after that! So an occasional speed burst should be just fine.
                              A good rider has balance, judgment, and good timing. So does a good lover!

                                Guys how is the Yamahalube SS oil performance wise?
                                The one i saw had the rating as SAE 15W50 API Service, JASO T.

                                Can it be used in P220?
