i have personally touched 140 on the speedo the max i have seen her goOriginally posted by rakowli View PostWhat is the Top Speed of R15? Also how is the low end speed of the bike. Is it acceptable if driving in traffic. i stay in Mumbai.
About refinement no doubt R15 would one hell of the bike. but just that 150cc tag and the rear tire is holding me back. Also the price. Lets see how it goes in the coming months. i may go for R15 or P220F
yeah same hereOriginally posted by tibby View PostNo call from them yet. Anyways, I'm not keen on it! I'd prefer xBhp meets.

tested top speed is around 135. Though everyone keeps reporting various speeds, some one will chip in with 144 kmph as well.
I saw 137 once and 139 once on the speedo. Taking in account speedo error, i take it to be around 132-134

Have done a Personal 148kmph as on Speedo.
But, it Varies. My friend can't go beyond 134, and another guy reaches 145kmph easily. So Yea, a lot of factors. Tyre pressure, Wind, Postion of sitting account into it. Don't worry. Grab a Ride of the Yamaha, and you will not look at the 220. But, its your choice at the end of the Day.

Few Questions--
I have exhausted the can of Motul lube and Motul chain clean and I could get hold of the Chain Clean can only.
Shouldn't the Grade 90 oil(gear oil) be good enough to lube the chain? or should i search for OKS/Motul lube as well?
I have finally decided to ditch Yamalube. Which oil and grade would be recommended?
Petronas isn't available in my part and I do not wish to go in for Fully Synth as I change oil religiously at every 1000kms.

Go for SAE 140 which is more thicker than SAE 90... xW50 is recommended for R15...Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostFew Questions--

My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
