    • Hi all, I have an issue with my bike. It seems to cranks but doesnt start, but once it gets started it runs normally and wont have starting trouble for sometime but the problem persist when i try starting the bike next morning. Push starting also doesnt seem to work. The SVC are still clueless.

I have checked the battery & spark plug and they appear to be fine, there is enough fuel in the tank also. I have a big bore and custom exhaust(both Race Concepts). Thanks in advance.

Check for a loose spark plug. If the spark plug is not tightened to the correct specifications it can lead to starting problems.

The spark plug has been tightened and in fact I've changed it too.

Ok, if you have a friend's R15 available, here's something that you can try... take your friend's ECU and install it and try starting the bike. If it does so, then the problem is with the ECU.

              • hey friends installed cosworth conical air filter for R15, and the bike has become beast now in the rpm range from 3k to 7.5 rpm and the torque is more powerful now rather than the silent characteristics. I have done 150 kms ans till now its good and performing good.

Just a query do i need to do setting after installing the filtr as i know in carb based we do, but since R15 is FI. is there any other setting required?

The ECU is a 'read only' unit. It does not allow of any changes. Keep an eye on the spark plug to ensure that your bike is not running lean.

Looks like my bikes fuel guage is showing the false reading, start showin reserve little earlier and thats why it shown 124km in reserve state.

                    • guys need help

from tomorrow suddenly while returning from office the meter is showing false reading
suppose riding at 33kmph and if i accelerate a bit more suddenly meter shows 0 kmph for a second and again working properly
this is happening both in case of accelerate or de accelerate
                      what could be the problem
is the meter gone or any problem with the wire or sensor ??
