Do 1 of the pics have just the right HL (when sitting on the bike) on? Or is it just the photography angle?

        thank you
        1) For Chain Lube, most of us use Motul Road here. The MRP is Rs. 480.
These is also OKS lube available for about Rs. 350. Both of these are wet type lubes, & will splatter on the rear rims, & number plate.
You mught want to lay your hands on the Yamalube chain lube, which is dry type. At Rs. 1450, its very costly, but is a premium product, & lasts longer than the wet type lubes mentiones above, as this one is dry type.
Is not easily available in places other than Kerala, & you might need to do some running around.
        2) For chain clean, bu the Motul Chain Clean. Costs Rs. 450 for a can, & is very effective.
        Hope this helps.

Not required. Normal fuel will do as compression ratio is low.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                  • Finally all my vibrations Removed from Tank, Front Cowl and Visor. The SS did a good job finally.
I was lubing my chain yesterday and found my chain linkages to be a little up and down. Checked the entire chain, and found similar linkages. Took it to the SS and he told me I would need a entire Chain set and Sprocket Replacement. Now, It's only 15000Kms on the clock.
How many of you have done it already or is there a different solution for a few more thousand kms. But, no Compromises whatsoever.

its better to get it replaced.. there is no other solution
its better to replace as soon as possilbe..you were bit lasy to lubricate your chain? isnt it!...ah it is alright no problem. but my advice to you is..replace.

and yes..i am facing similar vibrations on the tank..
what did the SC guys did to your bike to clear the vibrations?

There is a solution. Remove chain ( for which you will have to remove the entire swingarm ). Dip overnight in kerosene. Wash and clean with wire brush the next day,and see how the links loosen up. Clean with chain clean, apply chain lube ( after installation only, you can clean before installation ). My friend faced it on a 11,000 kms run bike. The issue is that the chain is not getting cleaned adequately, and hence the grime is causing the links to start jamming.

I too faces the same problem when my bike had done 18000kms... i replaced it costed me some where around 2800.00 rs.. R15's are semi chain cover which get dirt easily... once you ride in rain you need to lubricate it....

Do what jd666 has suggested. I did clean the chain with diesel, without removing it though, & it really helped.

Alternately, you can buy a new chain. KwokFist was telling me the price has come down to INR 855 for the chain. But Digislayer's link throws up INR 485 as the new price. Just check in the SVC reg the price, as replacing now seems to be a not so costly affair.

                            • R15 stalling at low RPM

my R15 started stalling at idle and low RPM in all gears, most below 3K RPM it just stalls, at the feel is like its deprived of fuel and thats why its stalling, I hear a "kit-kit" sound from left side some where before the stall, it difficult to ride the bike as I have to keep the rev above 3K to avoid the stall.

please let me know what might be the cause and did any owner have experienced it before.

Seems to me like the injectors are clogged. It is quite usually found in vehicles that are run less that the injectors get clogged.

And since you've run just 5k kms in 2.3 years, I'd say the bike has been run very less.
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
