    • ^^ Read back or search this thread, a K&N would require a retune of the FI system using a diagnostic tool.

          No sweat!

@ Yeshkadiyala- Most queries are answered elsewhere in the thread. Just use the search feature before posting.

@ Karthik- Uhh, you have the T165 bore na? How many kms done with that bore?

@ All- guys just a suggestion, we should create a log, or a database for finding out the R15 with the highest mileage on the odo. And get a report of the stuff encountered along the way. Dunno how to go about it.
          You get the point?? :D

Go for blue, it will always remind you that you are riding mini sport bike. other color may attractive but after the period you will find blue is the best.

                  • @ svjhonda Got the right torque. Though slight play still exists. But, it's better. Thanks!

                      • hello R15 owners, i have a small query i just wanted to know are there any tweaks or modifications in the 2008 R15 and the 2010 R15 stock bikes, as i have ridden both bikes back to back and found that the older R15 was good on top end but in city traffic it sounded dull and its low end was dead as compared to a normal 150, but with the 2010 R15, i found out it had a very good low end torque and performed very well in jam packed roads as well as winning from signal to other signal

So is the 2010 R15 given more low end torque as compared to old one?

EDIT : i was riding at 3 to 4000 Rpm both the bikes and sometimes even lesser.

Each bike will be different in its own way , not to the extent that you are talking about.

                            • An Accident

Had an accident a couple of hours ago. When i was on a right corner a hooligan boy on a pulsar 150 (without even a helmet) tried to overtake me through my right not giving me a room to lean... result went straight to gravel braked, crashed. My new Yellow R15 was not even a month old !!!!! I was almost geared so escaped with minor problems ( I think So). My DSG Nero and Cramster MX-3 took all the casualties. But my boolean was scratch less. Nero got its right shoulder teared!! But now i cant put my hands up..

About they bike.. Right fairing in which R15 decal on it, fully broken. The center fairing which surrounds the headlamps are broken. What would be the cost?
If you need a reason to ride, you are not on the right bike.

Sad to read about your crash! Good you were wearing riding gear.
The side fairing should be around 600 (older ones, not sure about newer stickered ones). The front plastic is about 350 (again, older one).

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
