Yes, it is Bolt on type. It will fix not a single modification on the Kit.Originally posted by degenr8 View PostBolt on type - Direct fit, no welding or other adjustment need to made to fit the exhaust just remove the stock one and fix the new (after market) one.

But yes, You need to fix some adjustment, since it is short exhaust and you need extra clipper to fix it.

Hey guys!
So i got my R15 a week back and am totally enjoying it. Its an amazing bike
Well coming to the point, i am looking to order the projectors from ebay.uk and was wondering if someone here who already has them could guide me, or even better help me with a link to the product they ordered. what type of bulb would i require for the HID.
Also, any tips/videos of the install process or a good installer in Pune would really be appreciated.
Thank You

Anything on the Yamalube FS Engine oil?Originally posted by Sharan_R View PostMy Front and Rear brake pads lasted till 9000km. 16000kms now, and the 2nd set looks good
. My friends haven't worn out yet. He has clocked 13,500kms. It varies with usage. Defintely.
Any official news on The FS Engine Yamalube?
Not available in Pune Factory Shop, atleast.
And Yes, a Review of the Yamaha Drytape Chain Lube. >> Got my chain lubed with Yamaha Drytape in June. (It's a Blue and White Bottle, costs Rs 1415 and around) And, this thing hasn't dried out. No Chain noise or anything. I have done 4200kms after it and still no sign of dryness or anything. It cost me Rs 200 at the SS.
Also had put in Nitrogen last month. No reduction in Tyre Pressure since then.
Many of you guys must have already tried out the Yamaha Chain Lube. Those who haven't. Pls do

Got it fixed today. Got a call from Evergreen Motors Alleppey, this morning. Went to service center by afternoon. Got it fixed with the Oil strainer and compression spring. Even the oil (yamalube 15w-50) also changed just after 500 kms , that too in free. Hats off to the wonderful Yamaha customer service.Originally posted by ezy_rider View PostBought a R15 Impact Yellow on 29th July. Was riding a Zma for the last five years. Went for first service on 9th this month. But there wasn't the Oil strainer and Spring inside the drain nut. How does it happens in a New bike. I think it has to be checked from the assembly line itself. Right? The mechanic was also searching for that, when i asked him, he said there might not be that Spring and strainer in the new bike as there are some changes in the new bikes. I believed that and agreed to it as i was in a hurry to get back to my work. But i want to clear about that matter. Called the Yamaha Office in Cochin and i was told that there should be there. He also said, that has to be checked by the dealer before delivering the bike. That means, they have to drain the engine oil of the brand new bike and check it and pour it back. Do you guys think that is fair for a new bike? That can be checked from the factory itself. Right? Anyway.. still it is running with out the strainer. There is no stock with the dealer. so i have to wait for 7 days at least.
What do you guys think about this? anybody faced this before? If you need a reason to ride, you are not on the right bike.

the yamaha chain lube ( blue and silver/green ) can is good for dry type lubrication. Meaning that the chain should be decently clean when using this type of lubrication, and should be used readily after that to keep it going. It is better than motul for sure, but then also depends on the driving conditions here.

I have been using the Yamalube powdery white dry type chain lube since a long time&always found it to last long. In my case, it gives me about 1000-1500kms.depending on the rains, slush etc. before the chain starts giving out mild squeaking noises indicating time for relubing. 4200kms.sounds impossible. Another advantage is it survives water washes/rains too for quite some time, as compared to the Motul, which is gone in a single wash.
And yes, the chain has been silent. But this lube flings onto the rear alloy too, you have to be careful in applying it on the inside to minimize flinging.
Here is a review I had written long back when I used it for the first time: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post224938Quench my thirst with gasoline!
