Ride in for sometime and it will reset correctly. It's a common problem with R15 v2.0. After it get's into reserve, the reserve indicator does not stop even after a tank up till you ride for sometime.

Bro, stop worrying too much. Its such a minor issue(if it is an issue at all), digital fuel guages are very unreliable, irrespective of make of the bike, if you notice, the gauge shows different reading when the bike is going uphill and downhill, the ball senson inside the tank keeps shifting position, nothing else, in your case , worst case scenario the fuel sensor might be having some damage, get it replaced under warranty, problem solved.

          Cheers

Find the below pic taken while doing a fuel pump clean (20P) for one of our customers.

The black fiber piece will float up and down on the fuel level, hence the corresponding reading will be displayed on the meter. May be this component is malfunctioning in the fuel pump, better take to a nearby service to check the fuel pump and if found faulty the entire fuel pump will be replaced.

There is no rule that a digital speedo is inaccurate or less efficient than analog ones.

Dont panic man. Juz dont panic.

The black fibre ball is probably bursted or broken. Get it replaced. Big deal. Shit happens. And this isnt even shit. There are worse cases on this very thread.

I doubt it would happen in 2 months time unless you are riding bike constantly close to reserve as the thumb rule says your fuel meter if it stays to one bar better to go and refuel till full tank as that keps the fuel pump in best health.

You do a full tank and ride for 30 kms and see if the reserve blink stops. How you know its damaged? What are the symptoms ?

By fuel sensor i meant that the corresponding level of the ball must translate into different bars on the digiatal speedo, which requires some kinda sensor.

And i never mentioned it being more inaccurate than an analog meter or any rules of any kind, all i mentioned was the digital meter shows various readings in an uphill and downhill condition, which is evident.

                        Cheers

                          • My bike's head-cylinder gasket is defective and so the oil+ coolant is leaking. The cylinder would be opened to check whether there is leak internally also. Can someone post a pic depicting a properly run cylinder or a pic of a cylinder with leak ?it would be of great help to identify the problem! Thanks in advance.
