    Hey Guys , I guess my speedo just went kaput , see attached pic . This happened right after a wash , now even the self check is not happening , time for a new speedo or is there anything else that could be wrong and fixed .

    Also from the second pic , Is there anyway i can get only the rubber covering for that ? or will that come only with the entire headlight assembly ?

    EDIT : A little bit of the hair dryer treatment near the contact points and the plug and speedo came back to life !

      From the looks of the speedo, look like youll have to get a new one. This happened just after washing ? But i dont understand how can something like this happen by water entering the speedo unit.

        the throttle cable if under tension may lead to the rpm shooting up..
        had actually happened once with me - when the handlebar was turned towards the right side, the rpms at idling would increase to 2.5k from the normal 1.5k, got it rectified from the svc, same problem..the cable was restricting the handle movement..
        after monday and tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!!

            Neat work bro, what parts did you change?

            I see you've changed the swing arm, rear rim and tyre, did you change the chain and or sprockets as well?

            And the split seat is it a direct fit or did you need to fabricate anything on the sub frame? I see you had to fabricate a blank plate, did you make it from steel or fibre glass?

            If you want HID's you can contact Navnish from the forum, I have a set from him for almost 18 months, no issues, these are without projectors, but with an anti-glare cap, they don't blind anyone and give me a good light spread and focus (pretty much the same as my Swift with 100/90 halogens), he may be able to hook you up with some projectors.

              Its very fine work , but 1 thing, does the seat gap of both front and rear seat looks right ? Seems its not seated correctly, it may also be the angle of the pic, but just a doubt, loved the paint and stickering theme.
              The strip on the windshield doesnt look nice (personal view).

              Also do share the break up cost of the mod and what all changes where made to the frame(if any).

                ya even i didnt like the stripe rather thinking of making wind screen full carbon fiber type
                @stefanm no change in sprocket
                had to do quite a few fabs for this fitting but its turned out great
                also will post better pics tom again

                      Avoid contigo like plague atleast for R15 as its a massacre on wet roads, It is a rider killer for CBR in wet.

                      Lucky you, but check with the SVC if the sensor is properly covered or not, as i think its open.

                      Nice job done there, regarding HID check with the bosch center as r15 35 watt 4300 k with projector is supplied by Bosch and its a very good quality as compared to some local buyers. By the way you dint replaced the side fairings of V2, also would like to know nay effects in handling after this mod ?

                        thx guys @shrinathrao replacing side fairing was a major issue req a lot of remodding
                        so avoided and handling is as good as it gets on an r15
                        ride height has increased a bit thats it

                          please help me guys

                          i have an r15 2.0 , its been 2 months since i have bought it. everything was ok since last week the fuel gauge started blinking i thought it was because my bike was in reserve but even after i refueled the fuel gauge indicator is still blinking. what should i do? im so tensed please reply.

                                How much was in the tank before you refilled ? Try putting in an extra 200 and check .
