@Krishi Yes the same problem that i mentioned previously , it went away when i the front sprocket was lubed, its back again. So i wonder how often do i keep lubing.

@Shivanshu Its a aqueaking sound that comes when i accelerate over 50 (Chu - Chu like). I did some 300 Kms before the sound came back again. Bikes done almost 3k , any idea how much that spray costs , the one used at svcs ?

in both the cases the chain starts making sounds so i lube is freq.. maybe even last than a span of 500kms.. my bike is 3 months old.
And also please do advice me on the Engine oil which cud do justice to engine.. Its been changed for 2 times now.. ie 2 free services and both the times they recommended semi synthetic .

Yea i remember.. Amazing thing is that after 1 day after all that crazy discussion that sound totally disappeared! .. i really doubt that its got anything to do with suspension. because it happens only when u accelerate after a certain speed and not while braking..

No Krishi, if chain is totally covered in dust, mud, slush then while washing tell them to put the water pressure on the chain while the rear tyre is being rotated (u can also do it by starting the bike and putting it in first gear while the bike is being washed, let the chain move, in this case i8t gets clean properly)

When the washing is done then you have to get it lubed which is mandatory if you want to have a good life of your chain.

Or else in normal riding ( without rain, and when your odo is above 3k ) just go to the service center and tell them to clean and lube the chain. But be present with the bike, and tell them to use a genuine lube and cleaner, like Motul. As when you absent from the bike at times they clean it and then lube it wit 90 grade engine oil.

Krishi: about Engine oil if yopur bike has done 5k then you can go for Motul 5100 15w50, its a very good oil, I have been told by many. If not then you can still use the Yamaluve Semi Synthetic, its good. The only thing after coming back from tour (which includes 1k plus kms and hill rides you should get it changed.

Yes I think your chain was not lubed properly as it shouldnt come within 300kms unless you did a couple of top speed testing on your bike riding her on the red line limit.
The Motul Chain Lube cost Rs.480/- and the Motul Chain Cleaner cost Rs.450/- out here in Delhi bro.

You should get your chain lubed, just read what I have highlighted in Krishi's response

Yea bro thats what i do.. actually i dont goto SVC for lubing.. i do it myself..

                  things which i do.

                  1. wash the chain with hand gun of water.
                  2. apply motul chain clean and scrub the chain with a brush.
                  3. and i apply motul chain lube..

so .. i shud lube it every time i wash the bike! ok bro thanks

                        Check the link,

No major issues other than some rusting problems, not sure of that either. Better than the current lot i guess.

this is in the VENKATESHA YAMAHA SERVICE CENTRE in hyderabad...

my doubt is whether to go for the change...if yes, why is yamaha going for such a costly make over on the bike for free?????? im in a dilemma...my panels look in good condition but my mind says me to go for them...want a reply ASAP...

and also the mechanic has told me to inform me about this to my fellow R15 riders...i ll be happy if anyone will be benifitted from this...go for it if u need it and if ur in hyderabad....waiting for a response....

Where is this venkatesha yamaha located??? Is this upgrade not available in other SVCs?
Fun begins only after 6K rpm.....!
