Doubtful times since I was hoping Honda to release 300R soon.

If they have plans, they could have introduced 300r in the revvest. why just a new colour scheme?(even those colours are yet to arrive)
Any news/statment from somewhere which made you doubt on this?

some websites quoting that it should come next year(2016) but you know these websites just post anything. Anyway as per anyone's common logic, Honda should have introduced new CBR300 instead of stickers. There was another rumour that the same 250cc with more PS and torque is going to come. Only Honda knows...

The updated 250R has more horsepower and same torque, i.e. 23 Nm. They should've released 300R at Revfest, it would've swept everything away if it was priced same as CBR250R. Killer looks and Honda with great mileage. Best bang for buck.

Does the cbr250r outsell the ninja300 and the r3 in India? If so, perhaps they are making more profit from the cbr than Kawasaki makes from its 300. Thus Honda has no financial incentive to bring the 300 here?

Ninja and R3 costs double the amount of Cbr250, hence it is bound to outsell the both bikes. In terms of profit not sure Honda is making that much profit than ninja, considering the number of cbr250 on the road is still less to make any big profit. India is very big in terms of physical size but for these companies India is very small in terms of selling performance products. They have very smaller countries like Indonesia, Malaysia etc where these sells better and I guess they will bring newer products to them than us. Also these countries provide better infrastructure to produce and ship to various countries. Availability of raw materials(also cost) and ship ports that connect are important. You can take the example of Tata tried to build factory in Kolkata and ran away.
Anyway sorry for the off topic.

I need some help with my CBR 250R. The bike has done 21646KM till now. I was facing issues with the handle bar dipping in under heavy/sudden braking. The mechs told that its an issue with the ball racers and so I got them changed.

This was about 2 weeks back. Now I don't feel the exact same issue, but the handling seems to be a little off. The handle seems to be loose or something and the ride isn't as confidence inspiring/ planted on ground as it used to be.

If you have any pointers on where to start looking or any one has similar issues, please help.

Anybody here needs, black mirrors of ZMR I have a pair.

The reason behind selling is that I brought to fix it on my cbr250r used for 2 months, but the rear view is less when compared to stock. Hence I have shifted back to stock Mirrors.

Anybody needs/wants please PM. I will be giving them half the price which will be 400rs.

                  Cheers,
                  Sanjay

Yes, at least the August month sales report for premium segment shows that CBR250 has still sold more than both about 285 in numbers. sadly Ninja 300 sold on August was 15(previous month 33) and R3 was about WOW..!!! 140, now isn't that a big number?. It shows that Ninja 300 has a poor sales and yes R3 launch has affected the ninja a lotttt....

CBR250 is still doing business but not in big numbers, while KTM 390 gets about 500+ sales. This is mainly because people are aware that Honda might launch new model any time on the line, and they don't want to buy an outdated bike. But Honda thinks the other way, trying to clear the stock and maybe getting ready for new launch. This is a catch 22 situation. I'm too waiting on the line

clearing stock? I dont think so. Recent buyers got the bike which manufactured in the very recent months.

Mine was a May 2015 manufactured one. I got it in September. Was in dealer stockyard for close to two months. Honda still is manufacturing CBRs in small numbers. If no stocks you can book one and you will get a newly manufactured bike in 1-2 months time frame.

Even I still see new CBRs with registered stickers every now and then and even with the old paint jobs. Even the showrooms still have old stickered cbr's in their showrooms.

Thats all I said. but I dont know what you meant by 'old paint jobs'. Honda still manufactures the same model and colour scheme(full red/black and tri colour). And those new bikes you have seen are hot from the plant...not made and kept in the yard for a year or so.

Yeah, maybe my guess could be wrong. But Honda might have surely reduced it's manufacturing capacity which is visible. I keep seeing CBR150 stocked in a Honda showroom where I take my Activa for service. When I asked for CBR250, they said they don't stock it as it sells less and hence will only be requested upon booking. It's neither a big or small showroom. But can see floods of Activa lying everywhere in Honda showrooms.

It may not be a year, but could be like 3-4 months back. I strongly believe Honda might be readying up with new color schemes, which I'm yet to see in showrooms.

What? CBR and ZMR mirrors are a direct swap?

I need CBR mirrors ASAP! Cost please, for OE CBR 250R mirrors?
