Re: KTM 200 Duke
The price of the front fork is almost 25K. Insurance companies will never authorize a full replacement unless of course the damage is catastrophic. They will instead pay for the repairs for minor bends(of course you'd have to pay part of the cost).Originally posted by wallpapers123 View PostThe hero always RIDES into the sunset!

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Just about 10 Kms new. Couldn't even ride the bike properly.. but I did not check the tyre direction though.. that could have been the reason.Originally posted by pitbull View PostHow many km did you have the mich front on? Newvtyres take about 150kms to properly set in....even sbk tyres. Did u chk if the tyre direction was correct?

But the bike will feel pretty weird if one of the forks are not repaired properly.. Even a tiniest change in the coneset setting makes the bike feel floopy..imagine how bad it would feel with one under repaired fork..Originally posted by Doga View PostThe price of the front fork is almost 25K. Re: KTM 200 Duke
i went to the svc yesterday , the head of service drove the vehicle yesterday , he said there is no need for worry, only the fork alignment is affected as accident was nothing major . they would fix it under 1000k
even i was scared about the same 25k for the fork and how much would insurance pay.. he said if im still not satisfied i can file a claim.

even the svc said the same thing before he rode on it ,then he came back and said that only alignment is kaput and we ll fix it.Originally posted by wallpapers123 View Post

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Hi ,Originally posted by Yusha View PostMy Duke 200 arrived at the dealership yesterday. Its a 2015 model and has all the features as shown in the link. The rear damper and front forks seem to be well protected. I will see how well they protect the damper and the front fork once my bike is on the road. The radiator fan is completely enclosed in a plastic shroud. Im not aware how it looks in previous versions of the 200. The bike will go to the RTO for passing on March 10th. And then the long 2 weeks wait for the registration number, as per the dealer. I wonder if that is actually how long it takes for the RTO to issue the number after tax payment and passing? Cannot wait!!
I went at the dealership(Kanjurmarg-Mumbai) today to enquire about the 2015 Duke 200 model they showed me a model but but its did not had the Handle bar weight similar to RC 200 they said the model is the latest 2015 model and they are not aware of any changes . I told him about the recent improvements in the latest 2015 model but told me that he showed me the latest model which i doubt . I think the new 2015 models are not available in Mumbai
if yes can anyone give me the info of such dealers which can get me the latest one ? .

Re: KTM 200 Duke
The best way is to check the VIN of the bike. Mine is a 2015 model manufactured in February. You can check with Vasai KTM or my dealer Suryoday Bajaj at Mira Road East. They have 2015 models without knowing about it. It's a standard feature in India. The dealers are the least aware people on the planet. I educated my dealer about the 2015 model changes. He had a 2015 390 with these changes and was not aware about it until I showed him!Originally posted by Tushar Suvarna View PostHi ,

So its not surprising that the Kanjur Marg dealer is unaware. Go there and check yourself.
Check this link for more information on KTM VIN.
And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
They have 2015 Duke 200's in stock. Im buying from a Bajaj dealer in Mira Road. The Vasaid KTM dealership and the Bajaj dealership in Mira Road is owned by the same guy. You should get in touch with KTM Vasai or Suryodat Bajaj in Mira Road.Originally posted by Tushar Suvarna View PostHi Yusha ,

This sticker is not new thing, it comes with old duke or very first lot of duke too. But showroom guys remove it before the delivery and insist owners to buy their tank pad. Marketing strategy.
