Yes but we met in the city so not much use.
By the way, most problems in my bike are now resolved.

I would like to run at least another 500 km with nothing new cropping up. Intend to post an annoveesary summary.

But status for now. I AM JUST LOVING THE BIKE.

Don't bother to buy GS 150 or any Suzuki Bike. Suzuki has already committed suicide in Indian Market. The current GS 150 is priced around 84,000 OTR in Bangalore. The new bike will probably touch 1,00,000 which is not worth. Wait for Auto Expo 2014. Other bike manufactures are launching new bikes. Then take a call

And about Rs. 1,15,000/- for R15V2 which is the only 150 cc bike better than GS in pickup and speed.
In Pondicherry, the on road price of GS is 72,700/-, in Tripura it is about 78,800/-, in Goa, 77,600/- and in Jharkhand, 75,600/-.

Looks spanking new even after 4 years. Well maintained.
Like u frequently say, no one else can service the bike the way we do it ourselves. Here is the proof.

PV, till how many kms did the factory fitted chain serve?
and at what intervals did you change the Power 1 SS?

While browsing the Suzuki India website, came across the term ASD (under dealer search) - does it stand for Authorized Spare Distributor?

Replaced the chain and sprockets at about 35,000 kms but it was good enough for, at least, another 5,000 kms.
Changes oil and oil filter at every 2,500 – 3,000 kms now. Earlier it was at about 2,000 – 2,500 kms.
                        ASD means Authorized Sub Dealer.

                          Hello guys,
My gs have completed about 27k and 2 years old ...One of friend abroad (UK) was back here and we had a ride on my bike and he liked it very much and he said GS is as peppy as a superbike. He had suggested me to use a additive called NANO ENERGIZER to the engine oil for so that it could form a sort of protective layer over the whole piston and prevent from any internal rust that could cause over time. So i just goggled it and found the product, its used worldwide and is Korean made. However i could't find it listed in any of the indian sites.I also found that some had already tested the products in car's and have amazing results.
These are the links to the thread: (https://gearheads.in/showthread.php?...er-amp-Mileage)

Now,my question is ,If anyone here have used it in GS????IF so,have you got satisfactory result's after using it??Please advice

Nobody here has ever complained about “internal rusting of piston” problems.
As Indian said, “why throw your money out of the window? Over the years they have had magnets for fuel lines, tablets for the fuel tank and additives that are supposed to give a tremendous increase in mileage, so much that your car (or bike) runs on the smell of fuel”.

Bardahl for what? I know exactly how much profit the agents or dealers of these miraculous snake oils get as commission for selling those. It is never less than 350-400% of what they spend to purchase it and that too on a sell and pay basis. Perhaps a little less than what the AMWAY agents get.

                                Friends,

Mine is a Feb-09 GS150R (first batch): ~5 yrs, 54K Kms. Mileage usually is in 50-55 kmpl range with upshifts @ 4500rpm.

No major expense till now (which is good!). Just regular oil changes, air filter and spark plug replacements; clutch cable and brakes shoes -- twice. I had my fork oil replaced 2.5K kms back and I'm feeling that the front forks are very stiff. My arms can feel all kinds of undulations (potholes, speedbreakers) through the handle bar, and as a result, I'm getting slight shoulder and neck pains these days. What could be the problem? Am I imagining this? Or, has the GS' front suspension been designed to be stiff unlike other commuter bikes which have soft setups. I got used to slowing down to 2/1st gear on imperfect roads.

Another problem I noticed recently is: I can take my key off even in the 'ON' position. Can this be fixed?
