Please stop this or else I would have to close this thread.

    Thanks
    Ditto to above.

I am nowadays not interested in either responding or even looking up at this page (or xBhp) as its always the same rust issue.
Yep, all probs. got to be discussed and clarified, not repeated over and over. Even all the other ' probs', present in any bike of our price bracket is seen as massive flaws.
Its a pity that certain sites like mouthshut, has some posters constantly referring to the rust pics page of GS page.

For me, the bike has been EXCEEDINGLY GOOD and its such a well built purposeful bike. Its a pity that people who brought another bike or can't afford it (lack of $$$) sing praises of it, while the actual owners are always worried.

Buddies I dont care whether Suzuki/Yamaha/Honda etc. do well or not. Whether we praise them (as in foolish drags) or curse them, we gain nothing.

Its time to stop worrying about bikes ( of course issues that are a real hell ought to be upon...GS has none) and move on with your life and its real priorities. As always ...My 50 cents

Hmm... Let me tryout with the service guys first.

Did my First service yest. Done 1200Kms totally

      After the service,

Gears are smoother the 1-neutral-2 particularly

      Bike responds really well

      Sixth gear cruising(@ 60 70) is effortless

It's high time someone did that! The discussion boiling down to just one issue is so boring. Added to that, other discussion sites might quote things out of context and project a very negative image of the bike...it is not a demon after all!

Hey buddy, the WD40 works well .
I tried it on my rusted helmet buckle, also on a door hinge.
It really loosens and also prevents further rust formation.

As a precautionary measure (because of the ruckus here) i sprayed WD40 on all the rust-free nuts & bolts of rear swing arm and also foot pegs. Used the provided fine nozzle tube to put some on the tank mouth circular depression.

Its a weeks since then and kept in Kerala rains (and still never-ending Think I can start a water reservoir business on my house roof )...No rust on tank mouth or anywhere else. Even handlebar grips is rust-free. Use WD40 if needed and Btw buddy, dont worry about rust. Some spots on sareeguard is not detrimental to actual performance.

Its a Vgood bike that just needs to be appreciated for what it easily delivers. Cheerio

                        • Ok, dont consider me as a GS150 basher after reading what i've written below but i have to ask something.
I dont think this issue has been discussed before so i had no choice but to post it.
Something seems to be wrong with my electric starter.
If i press the button everything(speedo digits, speedo lights) goes off, the bike doesnt start either.
This happened to me at 5pm in college today, i rode 10km to college in the morning the starter was fine.
even after riding home(10km) the battery hasnt got charged and this still happens.
I use kick for the first start in the morning everyday too...
what could be the possible reasons ??
i'll show it to SC tomo if this still happens but in the meantime i need your suggestions.

OK guys....so we have got the final word.....from the big people....

So no more discussing the rusting issue on this thread....from now on....
as many of you poeple know...it has become a black spot for the GS...

As of now...we all know that....the issue exists and all of us know how to deal with the SC or the Suzuki people....so now on....whoever gets the issue....they address the issues as discussed before....

From now on...no mentioning the rust issue...deal with it as you all know....
I really do not want this thread to be closed....please...

Sunny Sir is absolutely right, a right 'noise' has been made on xbhp, and I am sure Suzuki is the company that can be trusted to act real fast. The way they refunded money is something first of it's kind in India, and the newer ones are free from issues that were present in first batch as per new owners' feedback. So let's get back to ownership experience (good and bad) in right spirit !!

The Delhi guy was cool enough while talking & was understanding the problem I was facing with the bike. The buy back decession was taken in by the company itself.I did not give any suggestions. One thing I told them was I am happy with the bike but these persistent rusting problem has changed my mind to keep the bike.

Regarding my new bike, you would have to wait for couple of days, untill you see me on another ownership thread .
