but i need to give it for first servicing.... and since this happens to be the most important servicing, i want your inputs on where to get it done...
ps: i am in bengaluru, so all you bengulur-ians, your inputs would be very helpful
i think only oil and oil filter is changed at 1st service.
thats the only important part. you can report any problems if u have.
    thats about it.
    which showroom/SC ??

i tried eco and pwr modes. found it to be exactly same, no extra power or anything. only difference is the light.
so there's no connection with engine or mapping

10w40 is actually better than 20w40.
usually synthetic oils have wider range like 5w40 etc.
its ok to use as long as the last number is 40.

how are u ppl getting the synthetic oil ?
buying 2 bottles or is 1.1 litre bottle available too ??

          • dude its 1 ltr bottle no need of 1.1ltr if u change that filter then u shud get 1.1 and u can mix 100ml packet with this synthetic oil nthng happens

I like the grey color best. The run-in tips will be written in the manual. I personally suggest sticking below 50kmph for the 1st 1000kms., gear shifts at 3.5K RPM. After 1000, upshift at 4.5K RPM&top speed gradually increase.

Bro its there in the Manual.. Check it... Good to hear your bike is doing good... same here.. I have not tried to do any modifications on my biektill now and not planning to do in the near future... If necessary I might touch the headlight since its really bad

@ oil cooling.. Do yo mean to say we can have our own cooling system from an external agent ??? Man I never thought about this... Can someone throw some light here.. Is it feasible to have our own cooling system for the engine ???

even i was thinking of the same thing. because my engine doesnt get rough when i ride in rain becude engine stays wet.
so with liquid cooling it might be smooth.
only problem is the looks. it might end up looking really horrible with a radiator and pipes going round the engine.
and SC people may get pissed to service it too

The Eco mode and Power mode are only a throttle switch!. When u rip the throttle more the power mode lights up.

Absolutely it is no way connected to engine. Switch-off the engine and turn ur throttle fully, you can see the switches working.

I've tried it in my TVS Victor.
