I was thinkin about that. So theres no problem if you mix same grade oil even if they are different brand?Originally posted by thefalcon View PostAnd about the oil, change it without informing them if they act like this.
Like they'll ever test the grade of oil in the engine when/if you have to change engine under warranty..

Y ?
I think we should borrow the oil cooling from the pulsar 200..Originally posted by Anupdas View PostSo our GS needs liquid cooling for proper working......

Also, i went to the showroom and saw the new gs with body grafix. I think the orange one looks great but the black rear end doesnt go well with the blue one. And the old heat guard on the silencer is better.Last edited by wingrider744; 05-19-2010, 09:18 PM.Rider turned driver, aspiring to ride again.

I was just joking as falcon and raj said GS works better on rainy conditions, but oil cooling is very much practicalOriginally posted by wingrider744 View PostI think we should borrow the oil cooling from the pulsar 200..
If i was going to buy at this time i would have picked orange and black dual tone. Same color pattern as FZ though. A sporty black stripe on tank will be great. So nobody really liked Suzuki's attempt to give the silencer cover a sporty lookOriginally posted by wingrider744 View PostAlso, i went to the showroom and saw the new gs with body grafics. .
Also many have started to consider GS , a neighbor of mine came and asked about its performance. He asked my opinion about CBZ, Hunk, Fz and Uni. I think i confused him, but finally decided to go for orange GS
. The one flaw he mentioned is that the visor is too big and its hiding the majestic tank.

I think this will help youOriginally posted by wingrider744 View PostIm changing my front tyre to something more grippier. Ive skidded the front tyre a few times and now im not so confident while braking hard now. A bigger tyre will solve this i guess. Any suggestions?HTML Code:http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcycle-ownership-experiences/6831-suzuki-gs150r-478.html#post421688

I haven't see the Dual Tone When i went to Test drive Only saw the New black GS with new Graphics. But i saw the Blue 09 model loved the color. I would like to see the Dual Tone of this color.
Mainly I will book the 2010 model because i test rode both the new and old model and found a much better refinement in new model. the 09 model was of a friend.
Don't know but i think i will still go with the Blue or Gray. Gray looks more executive that's why i don't want to go for it.
Guys i missed this part wanted to check the RR unit in the model but didn't know where to check can anybody point out how to check this?

Where u getting iridium for GS ?Originally posted by adi231189 View PostFor people who have crossed like 15k kms i think they may try to install the iridium spark plugs that may help in more efficient throttle.

New...
Hi guys...
I have been following tis thread for quite a few months and have finally decidied to buy a blue gs 2010... tis thread has really helped me in making up my mind.. thank you guys.
However since i am studying in another town, i have get ma bike in hometown and transport it there. I insisted on parcel serive but ma father is adamant on riding it all the way sayng the the parcel guys may steal parts or damage the bike. The distance is about 350kms and the bike has to be ridden continously..
Will that trip cause any harm to my new bike. is there any precautions to take to prevent harm to engine. please advice me guys....

. New engines get hot very soon so long ride right away may be troublesome. If you follow the proper break in running and take proper breaks it would be possible
. Lets wait for touring veterans to answer the question. I just couldn't prevent myself from congratulating you.
Your blue GS is dual tone rite, do post some pics soon.....
