Still Waiting for iNputs for Second servicing Nybody ?
thats bad but still u can get the devil back ship shape right??? guess it doesnt atter how safe we ride .. there are always those clumsy reckless drivers out there who doesnt give a damn about others on the road or their own safety for sake.

how did the tank get a dent??? didnt the crash guard help at all??? ( i know its rather smaller than the one on older ones...which i am scared too.. cause i cant afford a fall from my pegasus )

      • hiii my reaperpegasus jus had her first service last friday.
Is it just me or that the guys at SVC drained almost a litre of petrol i had left in her when i gave her for the service.

but still i was testing her for mileage for the last two days. reserve to reserve method.

        reserve-Filled for 250-reserve
got about 158 Km on trip. and 250 s about 3.5 litres

so i guess shes returning about 45Kmpl. that too with some sporty(rev happy) riding and sane riding.

kept about max 60Kmph(solo) on sane riding. and went upto 105Kmph(with a pillion) on the other part. Cooled off the engine and bike for 5-10 mins after each burst.

I dont know wether the numbers are okay for the machine or should i ask the SVC to tuneup the engine?

The SVC guys may have used the petrol for cleaning the air filter as well as cleaning their hands after servicing. Though, the SVC people here don't do that, but I've seen a lot of mechanics doing that.

And about the mileage, on getting 45kmpl from the beast you should be more than happy

                      • No idea abt dealers/svc in attingal/kochi.
I have started doing certain things myself. And sometimes our local mechanics are the best. Its just that you have to get the good ones

not that much issues...though there were minor hiccups...like loose nuts, squeaky sounds..but all that got okay after her first service.
making her first >200km trip tomorrow. to kochi
