Yes, I too (may be not everyone here) find the riding position of series RTR quite taxing while moving through heavy traffic and on long rides. As you need to ride 40-60 km per day, I would suggest to go for the Pulsar 200NS as it is a proper street motorcycle (riding position) with all that tech packed beautifully well! But, be ready to compromise on ABS, a bullet proof screamer of an engine, and the bassy exhaust note of an RTR. I don't know if the NS's handle bar/front end is as light and flickable like FZ16 or Duke. Afaik, Pulsar 200NS does not sport MRF Zappers, instead comes with Eurogrip. There is still time for New Year, relax and make the right decision.Originally posted by pv1984 View PostThe Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Done 17.5k km and I'm beginning to feel that the clutch plates need to be changed..
And also tappets.. do they do that at every service? I really hate the noise and the lost performance..
Regarding tappets , try not to fiddle with them every time until necessary

^^ True, it would be from the left side of the block, slight tic-tic metallic soundOriginally posted by pcgamer View PostPark the bike. Put it in neutral and rev it till the sound starts appearing. Listen carefully and close in on the location making the noise and report back.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Sometime back one of the horns became loose and was slightly touching against the crash guard. This caused a rattling noise at 4.0-5K Rpm. Mechs could not find it, somehow I did. Correctly aligned and tightened the horn and sound vanished. Another time rattling noise from fairing area was taken care of by the SVC by tightening nuts holding the fairing.Originally posted by mansha View PostSomebody help me! Your RPM/Kmph problem might be due to Low air pressure. Check that as well....HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

Done ! mail & all it's been more then 10 time may be twice of that,
Although TM are helpful there very helpful but SVC people are more then pathetic just a bunch of garbage working there, including Service In charge, supervisor & store in charge too
Reason is they aren't from TVS but from some local dealer who don't care about Reputation of TVS but just wanna sell bikes & get money from Paid servicing, although if it was direct TVS then scenario would b different & they would have takne each & every bike seriously like there Territory Manager does (T.M.),
I am running on burning Clutch Plate, Miss alligned Handle Bar, Noise in both brake from last 20 day's but not resolved yet...
Clutch Plate isn't available with them & they are not able to resolve rest of things ...
Rest In Peace T.V.S. Mumbai you piece of crap.
Spoken with 2 T.M., head Incharge & Head service Manager now don't know who will help me .Last edited by shahbaz63; 12-19-2012, 05:49 PM.

Guys, especially Mumbaikars, wanted to know from where can i obtain the Shell AX-7, enquired at the petrol pumps in my area & a couple of shops that stock up engine oil, unfortunately they have only Castrol& Motul 15w-50 in store which I think MAYBE a misfit for the RTR...even a Motul 10w40 would be perfect.OBJECTS IN THE MIRROR OF MY BEAST DO NOT APPEAR CLOSE- THEY SIMPLY DISAPPEAR !!!
