I was about to post this when you posted it..

As per spec its 250cc, 4valves, 38.5hp @12k rpm, 23Nm torque, kerb wieght of 134kg, mileage of 33.3kmpl & 10L tank capacity.
Only petrol tank capacity i felt bit less, maybe they did so to reduce kerb weight. Rest all good figures.
I hope TVS sincerely brings this concept bike to reality and launches it in market.

Check the cone set, might be gone. Just tap the left or right handle when bike in main stand and front wheel off the ground.the handle should move freely to reach the other side. Similarly do tap from other side.

The only problem i have is that i feel a sharp vibration in the Head Light Doom when i reach a speed of 70kmph and the vibration stops after 75kmph..

Is there a solution for this? And is there anyone who face the same problem?

I am enjoying my ride to the core..

Proud to be an apachian..
Hey congrats man. Welcome to the tribe.
About vibrations, they do reduce after a few thousand km, especially after switching over to SS oil like AX7. The sound near the head might be because of some loose screw. New RTR owners might be able to help you out.
BTW, didn't you report it to the SVC during the first service?

pcgamer, Thanks for your wishes. Informed the svc during the service. The service engineer informed me that they have tightened some loose screws in the hl doom.

Even then I feel the same vibration. But the difference is before service the vibration was between 60 to 70. And now the vibration has just changed for different speeds.

I have asked the svc for further solutions too. I will post about further updates soon after rectifying the vibration problem.

Hi Folks,

I own a 2011 RTR160 done 13,100 Kms. Recently got the regular servicing done, in which Front Disk Pads were replaced. Now there seems to be quite a lot of resistance in the front wheel. When on center stand, even with a heavy handed force, wheel only rotates maximum of one rotation. Is this normal with new pads and free up with usage?? Or is something a miss here.
Need help. Thanks..
Regards,
Yogesh.

It is normal when you put new set of pads. Anyway if you are feeling too much resistance do report to SVC.
Normally it will fade out in few days..

I just hope ki TVS will bring Draken to real light soon because we all know that they are very slow in new launches. This concept looks amazing and will compete well with others in its segment,,,comon TVS brring it on..

Greetings Apache tribesmen

After a lot of research (lurking around ownership threads and asking every friend for a test drive) I have decided to buy the new Apache 180. However it seems that there are many complaints about the quality of service provided by service centres in Bangalore. Can some one please direct me to a good showroom with a trusted after sales support? I hear good things about TVS Trijal in Whitefield. Are there any other options?

Thanks

Welcome to the RTR tribe in advance

And yes, quality of service is not great almost anywhere. I had done most of servicing from Tristar TVS near Domlur (later found a mechanic who did better job ) and the experience with them was decent, though others did have bad experiences over there. Just talk to Mr.Murthy, the service manager and things usually go well if he is informed about issues etc.

I am not sure about Trijal, maybe some one else can throw some light on it.

Btw, if you can shell out a bit more money, I would suggest to go for the ABS variant. Trust me, you wont regret it!

Thanks Adarsh, I read some complaints against TVS Tristar on this forum, have they improved their quality? Also I am really tempted to go for the ABS version, but will have to wait for next month's salary to afford it. CANT WAIT
