I dont get it. Local guys I have seen have ported polished heads and a big bore 200cc apache job with bigger carbs and free flows and they hit 140s easily on their bikes. I dot get it why tvs cantnbring out a new bike, I have never seen a more lazier company....
Best tvs mod was by joel though....the ghost apache....
              Now
When tvs brought out the new cosmetic upgrade designs this would have happened
Tvs:- aeee u see what we did their! Same bike diffrent looks.
Yamaha:- I have been doing that to the fz too since 5+ years.. and I have been doing a good job. What do you think guruji?
Hero (guruji):- been there done that!

Its true that TVS is very lazy when it comes with products. They are more concentrated on mileage sensitive janatha so concentrating on 125cc stuffs and also scooters for girlz or guyz who cant do (or lazy enough) the extra job of shifting gears.
Also we must not forget the amount of time & testing all companies put before launching a product. One of the pre-requisite for launching product is no.of kilometers under its belt. Its something more than 60 to 70k. These so called joeled & polished heads wont run long & have hell lot of issues every now & then because they dont need to satisfy anyone with test results or they dont require to pass any government rules which is strict nowadays when it comes to pollution. For outside market mods the customers are the testers. Thats the reason here unlike other threads we dont entertain anything on engine mods because its just the initial happiness you get after that its going to be a big headache. We always tell "If you want a faster bike save money & buyer a faster one. Dont go for mods. Remain Stock."

The best advice for people looking out for modifying bikes. I have been through the modification hell, not worth it IMHO.

Got the MRF Zapper for front and rear. Total 4150 ( 2350 rear , 1800 front)
IRC having issues regarding ISI standards so the stock is very less.

                        Front Zapper FS
                        Rear Zapper C

It felt so light as my stock tyres became slicks. And the front had tube due to excess of air loss. After almost 6 months, I could lean to my heart's extent.

The zapper c is of stock size or 120 section?

Yes it is, 110 MRF (Dazzler's tyre) is difficult to find here.
Other options were Michelin. But being pricey and less off road functionality (From LEH point of view) avoided that.

Sounds like a great combo that offers both better grip & performance than stock. Would you recommend them for newer models though there shouldn't be much issue

yes, why not. Although 120 would take a slight toll on performance but that is acceptable. As soon as I got the tyre did knee down number of times to get back that confidence and then went 150kms to eat lunch. See how happy I am
