Hmmm!!! interesting.Originally posted by kk_RTR View PostIIRC, R15 had a lead of abt 3 seconds over P220Fi and RTR160fi was abt 1-2 seconds behind P220fi.....
Today, if you've noticed, the gaps remain more or less the same [R15 (~3secs) P220 (~1-2 secs) RTR180] even when RTR 160fi was replaced by RTR 180
thats where it looks fishy .....
i hope u've got my point
acually i expected the RTR 180 to top the timing, and expected the 220 dtsi to better the timing of 220fi especially after so much hype before the release of menace. Its been almost 2 years since i stopped reading these mags. our Xbhp provides me with all the necessary information about bikes.

thanks a lot bro..correct me if am wrong, but using a hid without converting the bike to dc will drain the battery, right??Originally posted by lijok View Post@monz... you can install a 35HID with out changing to full DC. I did that once. But it will need to use a separate switch, which was very uncomfortable for me... also using HID in stock reflector is very bad for others due to too much glare.. and cop magnet... due to cop problem, i removed it.
Converting to full DC has its advantages of flicker free lighting, and you can use higher watt bulb like the NB.
theguitarfreak has converted to full DC... check this thread http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/desi-bik...s-all-day.html

i just check out at tvssc the total cost changing these parts will be of 1350

Top it up with the Dot 3 fluid( It's the grade TVS used) till the max mark, that's it.Originally posted by abhishekch View Postand my my rear brake fluid is little below from min level marker

Hey Guys , even My byk has completed 1 year today ... wantd to share a lot of pics but they r not worthy to be uploaded on the same thread as Swagat and others post their beautiful pics.
One Year has been really good with the Bike , Head Turner even now , i luv the attention i get due to the bike and the Acceleration , i luv it , i just breeze past everyone else in traffic with a slight twist of the throttle . im really happy that these bikes dont sell in great number bcoz our bikes will have some uniqueness.
TVS Service has been Good (i know the owner of the TVS showroom whch gives my bike spl attention at the SVC)
Veedol oil is workin wonders in my bike , silky smooth(for the RTRs atleast) Thnx to Chicane for the advice.
About 10k kms completed.loved each one.

The brake will work fine till the last drop of the fluid with more of the travel at the pedal but if it will take even a hint of air you'll have to bleed the system out.Originally posted by abhishekch View Postbrakes are working perfectly even below min marks i think it will work till the bottom end
