TVS Service has been Good (i know the owner of the TVS showroom whch gives my bike spl attention at the SVC)

Veedol oil is workin wonders in my bike , silky smooth(for the RTRs atleast) Thnx to Chicane for the advice.

About 10k kms completed.loved each one.

Dude, do post pics.Like Renny mentioned nobody here cares about the quality except for one thing which everybody has in common i.e passion for his bike!!

guys k&n air filter is installed to the direct pipe comming from carb to the box besides stok airfilter is fitted to inlet of box so that the air inside the box is clean but k&n make the inlet open. but their are 2 more pipe going from the box after installation of k&n those to pipe dont get clean air
dose those pipe dont needed clean air and what dose those pipe do

bcoz i love that angle, i personally find it a bit difficult to shoot the perfect pic frm that angle...

Dude,quite confusing!

I am also thinking to change the stock one with K&N but the re-jetting thing is bothering me.

..For the time being I shall change the spark plug to that with Iridium one.What do you guys suggest,should I go ahead and fit that?..Pros and cons anyone.

today as sunday i take my bike for a spin in delhi with my friend
it was a great day but not by the weather hot sun around 34* c temp
we discover some monuments and clicked some pics of bike with them.

when i reached home back the trip meter was showing 74 km which i reset at start

here are some pics i tooked

india gate

Gayarh murti (11 statues) dandi march of mahatma gandhi ji

president estate,parad road. and the road where a great shot from 3 idiots is shooted when aamir tie rajus father and take him to hospital via scotty

next sunday will go for anothe trip and will shoot bike pics with rest of delhi monuments

hi man, sorry to hear about what happened to your bike., and congrats if you are going to install a k&n. i have put K&NRC1060 i only paid 1566/- rupee i brought it from a friend who is works with k&n India's import and distribution center n got it for very less price( dealers price),,, its actual price in market is i think 400 ` 500 rupee more .... while installing i didnt do any alterations to my original stock filter like cutting it or any other thing. i just removed it completely with hose n brought another local hose for 24 rupee n clamped it. my mechanic is smart

..., he said its anyday better to keep the stock filter as it is, just in case of some warranty issues or something else i can just fit it back.

still haven removed the mirrors or saree guard or anything. i am just increasing performance increasing stuff.

Mirrors are life savers, specialy on the highway, keep them for sure.

To K&N lovers:

Best way to fit the unit is to remove the entire airbox and bolt the unit with a clamp sealed with rubber, without jetting it wont give you even 2% of increase in power, but the burble in noice and the K&N thing in your mind will phychologically put smile on your face making you believe your bike is making more power.

To get most out of the K&N you have to jet your bike, or you have to make it run on rich mixture cuz the engine is simply sucking in more air.

Stock carb setting + K&N= All sound no go.
Rich setting+ K&N= max of 1-2% increase in throttle response.
Jetting+K&N= Now we're talking.

and yeah even i have those extra pipes :P waiting for mech to come. anyways m riding my bike like that itself and i didn't so far face any problem. i switched bike on n kept finger near the hose n its definitely sucking air inside. i think i will put a normal thick sponge n tie it with rubber band

it should do the old filters job well to the extra pipes.

mirrors are good. and about jetting., my mech did some thing with carbs n said he'll do proper jetting when he returns from his native so i dunno much what he did but the bike ain't the same

its flying

you removed the whole box and those extra pipes are hanging their i think those pipes cool the engine one is going to the lower part of the engine and the other dont know ithink its going upward somwhere
