Glad that the problem is solved,I dont know whats the fault with the TPS,seen many cases reporting about the lag in lower rpms.
@Lijok:I feel you should also try replacing the TPS,might solve the hiccups issue and it doesnt cost a bomb.

TPS?? what is that? How much did it cost? or are you referring to the TCI unit? the Green box under the tank?

TPS = Throttle position sensor
its a red box just above the carb. under the tank

Hi Drifty, Is the manual you have is a 24page Pdf which explains features specific to RTR180 and for others says to refer the earlier Apache service manual or a full version?

LOL... Arre, see the tyres are surely not one of the best grippers but they aren't so bad that you'll fall every now-and-then because of not so gripping tyres. First experience them on your own and obvserve. If you still feel that you can't keep up with them, you can surely change to the better ones.

I, personally, do feel that they aren't close to the best ones but I am still running on them because they aren't so bad that I need to change them before they should've been.

+1 to that!! tvs tyres aren't that bad on regular surfaces! its only in the rains that u need to be extra careful and apply the brakes cautiously.
but on a positive side that may make u more alert while riding

rtr, being my first bike i didnt notice the vibrations much! its only after i read about them and after riding a friend's unicorn did i start to realize about them

and sometimes while riding aggressively u get the feel u know

i also observed new design clipons on new batch rtrs .they are more thick and round..

my rear shocks are really not providing a good cushion on bumps etc . at 30 k kms it seems they are now history . guys can the rear shockers be refilled with air or something ?? or do we have to buy new ones ?? cost for new ones ?

No repairing, refilling air/nitrogen, nothing. Please replace them!!
Costs INR1600 for one.

! anyone tried modding rtr to a monoshock setup . i kinda want to have a little more stability that a longer swing arm provides and am thinking if the r15 aluminium swingarm can be installed on rtr .

@ all - btw whats the cost for stock rtr 180 swingarm ?

guys i didnt use my bike for like 5 days....now its not starting problems...its starts but dies off immediatley i used the choke also,it started and i revved to 8k RPM but it died again now it just starts and dies off.....last time i used the bike i put 30 bucks petrol when almost the fuel got over...is there a possibility that fuel has got evaporated ??? i kept my bike in the shade with fuel turn knob switched off..please help me guys

Another thing buddy, never rev the engine like that just after starting it especially after a long time period.
Even during regular usage of the bike, don't rev it hard while idling, it would overheat the engine internals and cause costly damage. And before going for a ride (if it's the days first one or after an interval of say, an hour or so) let the engine idle for 30-60 secs at least, so that oil starts circulating well enough. Further, keep the revs below 4.5K for the first 3-4 km
