    • It has taken me exactly 3.5 years to reach here... Well the figure isn't correct though... The true figure would be close to 45k...

Over the years we have had our moments, arguments, disagreements... but have stayed true to each other... I have lusted over other beauties and considered affairs but haven't been able to stay away from her for more than a couple of days... She is now like my extended legs... Never go anywhere without her...

My wife took time to warm upto her... she felt threatened by my love for this baby... But overtime my wife too has warmed upto her and and doesn't like to go anywhere without her...

My love my life... She is my Sway...

        • A problem guys!

My bike's front rim is bent at one small point. Most probably because of hitting a pothole at 100kmph. As a result the tyre also got punctured near that point.

Can it [rim] be repaired? Or it should be replaced?

Yes, it can be repaired..(But I'm not 100% sure you can use tubeless tyres on it again)....

It can be repaired! But its not 100% 'pukka' fix. Since fixing the alloy usually involves heating the alloy and putting it back into shape. The heating can partially weaken the alloy. That means the next time you hit a pothole that can bend your alloy, it might not just bend it can crack.

I'm not saying this will happen, it is a possibility!

I've been running on a repaired alloy for about 4K kms now. No issues reported so far, but the fear is there at the back of my mind!

They can be repaired but you wont be able to use tubeless.. Also they will be a risk...

                  • Guys... I got my bike a new front tire yesterday.. Same as before.. i.e. Stock Zapper FS 90/90 R17.

But what I felt yesterday and today while riding it right after from my old tyre, the handling felt funny.. I mean it now takes its own sweet time to lean into corner and when it does, it does so very sluggishly.

The earlier tire as much sharper. Though the grip levels and conficence in the corner is visibly improved from the old(worn out) tire(obviously ), I miss the sharp turning ability of the old tire. Is it something normal?

In Short: Leaning is easier but slower than old tire.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Yea thats because there's a lot more rubber i.e. the tyre is more rounder and grippier!

Will settle in after about 1-2K kms of riding around!

                      • Yeah, it will take sometime to settle down.. so don't Worry.

When i put both the front and rear tyre with Pirelli Sports Demon, the Handle seemed very very heavy..( for the first 200-300Kms)

But after the initial phase, the handling has been superb as of now.Plus the braking has also improved from the stock. Acceleration has increased quite a bit, but the Top end has reduced..( Quality of Pirelli ones ).

It can be repaired as suggested by Praful..

But i would suggest you to go for a replacement.. Complete peace of mind..

PS: I recently got it replaced for my bike.
