next time try 4th gear rev-limiter cut-off..

If you ask me your rear (am talking abt the tyre) is still pretty good. Any damn tyre will offer you less grip in wet condition. If you say that you can do only 80-90 in rain/wet condition then you have'nt explored it full potential. Heck......i've done over 60kms @90-100kmph on my RTR in heavy rains with those FAMOUS tvs tyres!

I have'nt tried the cut off thing on my CBR. but thrice i have hit 75kmph in 3rd! Benn to 12k in first 3 gears and 11.5 in 4th on my RTR.

And cut off in 4th on ur 220? bring it on....my hands are itchy

iam trying to be on the safe side.. u know how bad city roads are. especially the uppal-lb nagar stretch.. and my college highway also.. its just that i dont want to take any kind of risk now.. do u really think i would be driving at those speeds?

if iam driving on wet, iam driving only coz of the front tyre, which is in good shape and doesnt lose grip that much even on wet surface.. my braking is 90% F and 10% rear with my present tyre on wet surface or little sand or gravel.. u dint see, how badly the rear was stepping out with little brakes..
the CBR, doesnt have a cut-off.. i also used to do 75 on my CT100 on 3rd gear..

give it a try for the 4th gear cut-of..

PS- i have a rear rim out..

I'm finding very difficult to handle split grabrails.

can we replace it with RTR or R15 Grabrails or any other ?
is it possible?

try this way.. just ask them for a ride and say that u want to see how different the seat position is.. now the bike is with u..

What is the depriciation ratio for a P220 FI?
e.g: What is the current value of an 18 months old P220 FI, which costed 87K when i got it.

p220 not going above 126kmph

my bike odo 27500+..
my bike not going above 126kmph

.i do every service from pbk service center in every 2500km with oil changed castrol active 4t 20w50.i also changed fuel fillter in every serviced. so what is the problem in my bike? pls help me

@Guys wanting to adjust their beams: let me know incase your mech is confused about what to do. I have a headlight lying at home, I can post a pic with details of what needs to be done.

@140 Kmph speed claims: The with black back speedos hit 132-135 on the speedo. Anything extra is a bonus. About the Rubber Rippers speed claims, can Nitro or Ritwick confirm if these speeds were hit in a tunnel (katraj maybe!). I've hit 127 with full saddlebags/tankbag without crouching in that tunnel.
PS: Pune 220's are best btw, they have the least probs, give the most mileage, and have the best performace.

@Revlimiter Cut-offs: When posting the figures, please indicate which bike (Fi/Dts-i) and if its Fi if its black/white tacho.
Regarding cutoffs for the black back tacho, where is Pranay when you need him

@yuv: Depriciation a lot depends on the kms on the odo. When my bike was 30K old I just casually asked at the Chennai PBK how much they would offer, I was shocked to hear 45K

. For the best possible value you need to get a individual buyer.

@All: My bike 'officially' hit 40K on the odo last tuesday.Unoffcially its 600kms more.

Its a different story that now the odo stands at 41.1K
