I really dislike the oil cap in our present karizmas ... cant get it out due to the low grip not even if i try with nose pliers ... is there a better cap with the same long tip with indicator thingy ?? Its disgusting taking it to the SVC whenever i wanna check oil levels...Between what is the idling rpm when properly heated up ??

The new Karizmas come with beefy tires.. 120/80-18 and they are tubeless.. and they will fit but you will have to cut the chain guard or maybe get the new karizma chaim guard and see if it fits.. on the other hand.. you can try zapper Q 110/90-18.. i am currently using it on my ZMR and using them as tubeless though they are tube type.. they are perfect.. wet conditions and dry roads.. grip is simply perfect.. direct fit and no need to cut the chain guard..

Regarding the oil lever check.. it is simple to open. I dont know why you find it difficult.. you can use a wrench too to open it..

Guys,
Any solution for the broken hinges of zma body parts? I am fed up of the vibrating and quirky noise of body fiber. It is because of the broken plug hinges. I tried to seal them with Fevitite and mseal, but it hardly last for a week. Anybody done plastic welding? Please share solutions that worked for you.

Hey buddy can you arrange an amrow upvc welder? Its a tubed glue. Yes a glue. Usually plumbers use it to stick pvc and plastic pipes since its clear, hard, water proof, survives large temperature differences and bonds the plastic surfaces on a molecular leave. And for 40rs a small bottle its cheap and worth a shot

worked for an r15 fairing crash damage.

Hi Guys,

I am in urgent need of some pricing advice please . Getting a September 2013 Hero Karizma R in absolute mint condition. I dont mean the fake Olx/quikr type mint description. This is a proper genuine bike that runs and looks like brand new out of the showroom. It has run a total of 10000 Kms till date. Single Owner, All paperwork intact bills/service records etc.

The final price quoted is 70k. Just wanted to check if this is a good deal. Thanks.

However mint, I wouldn't give more than 60. Also, you might want to find a reason just as genuine as the bike, as to why such a new bike is being sold. And whatever that may be, 60 is max.

Thanks for the reply. Is an almost 40k depreciation valid for a bike thats just 9 months old?

The reason for sale is that the person is going in for used bullet and doing it up. I verified this.

Congrats on the new buy. Good thing you followed your heart, after all, that's all that matters sometimes. Dunno where you are based and maybe prices are better there, but back here in Mumbai, old zmas are not that costly. The seller mostly feels he's giving it for free.

I'm from Mumbai too. Malad. Checked a couple of zmas before settling on this one. Some of them were in real crap condition. Don't really have the time to restore stuff now. This will do nicely for a couple of years

Yeah. I'm a bit of a bike nut. Have a Duke 390, Karizma, 5 speed rxz, 5 speed rx and a Shogun.

oh, lovely. You made a good choice. I tell you, this is worth the money. I suggest you change air filter, spark plug and engine oil, so you know the next change window. Do a battery check too.
