    Thanks Brother..

I guess, this particular type would not be available here, so the only option is fabricating a new one for my ZMA.
Thinking of metal pipe of that size - hard enough to take the impact in a crash...

Be careful on the bold part. Too hard a metal would transfer all the energy to the frame and can cause severe/potentially fatal issues.

It should be soft enough to yield in case of a hard crash. Else you might get a bent chasis.

Agreed to Divya Sharan. The Zma handle bar is also made like that only. After every crash it gets bent to save the frame/stem from impact. So make a wise choice.

In any hard crash, there is no guarantee the crash guard will secure both rider and bike. Its there only to minimize the impact.

OK, Thanks for clearing the doubts.
Thanks for Ashwin too for helping me to understand the fact(offline help ).

Thinking of mounting the same crashguard, lying at my mechanic. It may need some fabrication, some paint ..... and the AUX Lights on it.

I'm planning for a Tyre change. Bike is close to 46,000.

Have decided to go for Michelin after using MRF and CEAT.

Michelin website shows Michelin Sirac street.
                                2.75-18 42P SIRAC STREET IND F100/90-18 M/C 56P SIRAC STREET

Is the sirac street is the right one? or any other models in Michelin. I wanna try Michelin this time around.

Decided to change the following spares:

                                1. Spark plug- NGK G power- can some one guide on where to source it in chennai?
                                2. Brake pads.
                                3. Accelerator cable.
                                4. Choke cable- sort of getting stuck.
                                5. 55/60w bulb.

I'm facing a weird sound when closing the throttle from 4 to 5 rpm? The sound is like factory bell ringing calling the workers. the sound is heard from the left hand side some where near the oil case/engine cover. Have shown to few mechs, they are not able to identify the issue. Have done a lot of long trips no issues.

the also the chain hits the guard when going through some pot holes. Try adjusting the chain no go. Chain sprocket is 9,000 kms odd old.

Was able to get the mileage so far after setting the AFR screw on the basis of PSR sir's post. Got of mileage of 47 with a steady speed of 70-85 on a tank full method. method. People give me a wierd look when i saw about the mileage. got 38 in city changing gears at 4k rpm and around 40-41 with the gears being changed at 3k rpm. Thank you sir.

The weird sound disturbs me some times. PSR sir can you throw some light on this sound? If possible I will try to record it.
@bala- can you tell the from where you got the light.
