You have any reason to believe it'll fail ? From what I've seen from your posts , you've done a thorough job . Just go through the running in carefully . Change oil at 500 km and then again @ 1200 km . ( You can change at @ 400 and then again at 1000 km to be safe , but not necessary because you will be running in the engine - slow engine speeds .) After the 3rd oil change at @ 1500 - 1800 km I think you are safe .
Ask psr sir for the safe running in speeds .
I did my first ride after the rebore from the workshop to my home (25 km ) @ midnight and had mopeds overtaking me !!

I am not concluding yet, will wait for at least 2500 kms and a long high-speed ride to conclude. I am doing proper run-in also, keeping at 4k rpm now. I have a little suspicion about the top free-end gap. It should be a little bit less. Other day I have seen a properly bored Passion cylinder. The top ring free-end gap is very less and its uniform from top to bottom.

Lets wait till I complete at least 2500 kms and then conclude.

Since I changed the oil, I could run my bike only for 70 kms, that too in city mostly. My bike is in run-in period, so can't really judge the oil. But, gear shifts are a little smoother than regular oil. Bike feels smoother to pull, but that could be due to my rebore work also. So, you have to wait for my review only after I use the oil during my regular trips, which could be in monsoons, a long way.

The main noticeable difference of diesel engine oils is felt when you run them during long high speed runs. The engine feels relaxed, composed and very smooth! This is what I felt. Used the Rimula R3x before and am currently running on the Rimula R2 Extra. Not any difference between these two though..

                    • Thanks guys, I recently threw away almost 800 rs of mine in to th garbage by buying Motul7100, the feels ok in terms of engine refinement but in the case of gear shift quality the feel is like some one put some grinding paste on to my gear box, it feels so sh..t.

Maybe they set the AFR too rich. (assuming they cleaned the air filter, spark plug, chain n stuff)

If indeed AFR is the culprit, you need to keep it at 3-3.5 turns. In case you're not aware of how to do it, take it to any nearby mech, he'll do it in 5 min.
