Cant I get it welded otherwise I will h ave to spend 1500 bucks and get the whole footrest assembly replaced.
.......
Another problem which I am facing is that the rear right brake bulb does not glow when I switch on the headlights but it glows when I press the brake lever.I have change the bulb twice but still facing the same problem.
Re. Bulb. Brake lights bulbs have two filaments. One of the filament is kaput. Replace them with Philips original bulbs and not simply any bulbs that shopkeeper or service center gives. I buy and replace them myself. Though In 1 year 8 months, I had to replace only one bulb but I replace both anyway to keep its life consistent on both sides. I use them on my car as well. btw my car uses 4 brake bulbs and they last long, very very long, ding dong.

Guys, my zma over 50000km & 3 years old & there are couple of problems with it now which needed to be solved.
1. Recently, service & oil change of my bike has been done, but the oil is leaking from the drain nut even though mechanic had checked & it is not loose. Due to which i think engine is over heating. What to do?
2. Pick up & top end is decreased, is it needed to change clutch plates?

= get timing chain done + clutch plates(indeed orignal)for pickup and top end...see if the engine is overheating then nut needs some sealbond to fix as loose timing chain ensures overheating and sound and it could b a lean mixture as well..
lemmie kno about smoke or and additional sound from engine...

Guys , My bike has done 21000 kms and 3 years old , I haven't changed my filter yet ,should i go for Filter change and what are the symptoms when one should change it??
and Till date i was sticked to the oil given by HH ,This time i want to go for a change ,which oil should i go for , i hope upgrading oil has nothing to do with tuning of the bike because Mechanics here are not that good to get this .

do change your drain nut o-ring to stop the leak. try to kickstart the bike,if the kickstart shows less resistance then its time for a clutch overhaul.inspect the cylinder & piston clearances and if it is in the manufacturer's limits then change the piston rings.your piston with new rings will go for another 20k or more provided if you don't rip the bike.

Symptoms would not be easily detected. dirty air filter would prevent required amount of air passage for a clean combustion, meaning less air in the air-fuel ratio. I have already changed my air filter @ 16k despite cleaning them frequently with high pressure air. Heard some people change them even earlier. Advisable for you to change them at this stage.Originally posted by Bestofrivals View PostGuys , My bike has done 21000 kms and 3 years old , I haven't changed my filter yet ,should i go for Filter change and what are the symptoms when one should change it??

HELP
Oil does not have anything to do with tuning. I personally have tried quiet a few oils ranging from mineral, semi-synthetic and fully synthetic from HH, Castrol and Motul. Currently I am using Petronas Sprinta 5000 4T Fully Synthetic. It is still too early to comment on it as I have not even clocked 100kms on it yet. Though Initial impression is good. If its good, then I will be sticking to it, as they come at half the price of other Synthetic oils
