I know thats an MRF Zapper by the tread pattern, but what model and what size is it? I need to change the rear tyre too, 22,000km run on stock tyres, and not getting the stock MRF ones here.. Any feedback about the new tyre?
Also is that the Apache fender you've fitted?Last edited by neoakshay; 05-31-2011, 12:51 PM.A good rider has balance, judgment, and good timing. So does a good lover!

You managed to fit the stock Ninja tyre on your R-15? wow.. I didnt think there was enough space between the swingarm! Could you please post pics.. and also mention if you modified the swingarm in any way to accomodate the tyre.. Thanks!Originally posted by burninrubbr View Post^^ I've the IRC 130/70 on the rear, the stock Ninja tyres, performing well on the corners, though tend to fly on gravel or wet conditions

@ everyone - Can i use the RX100 center stand as permanent fixture for R15?
Also i would know what is the best setting for stock R15 headlights so you can see a long and good range of road, Also i want to keep both the head lights on during low beam in stock condition is there any replacement of battery required for same or are there any other options you have done?

Looks good, but not as wide as on the Ninja coz of the narrower alloys on the R-15. I think that tyre is quite costly.. Will check on the exact price. Thanks man..Originally posted by burninrubbr View Post^^ Didn't have to modify the swingarm, mine is a used bike, so the prev owner got this done before moving onto CBR250 and here's the pic
I'm not sure if the RX100 stand can be used as a permanent fixture, people mostly use it as a temporary stand for chain lubing.. Get the R-15 main stand from the showroom na?Originally posted by shrinathrao View Post@ everyone - Can i use the RX100 center stand as permanent fixture for R15?

You can get both headlights working on low-beam without any major modification. The SVC guys will do it for you in 2 mins, it's just a minor wiring change. It won't affect your battery at all.
Regarding the headlight beam adjustment, just take the bike to a dark road, without streetlights or traffic and adjust the beam using the adjustment screws to get the beam you desire.
Note: On the R-15, once the headlight beam is adjusted to perfection, it will point upwards when you have a pillion riding with you. Be ready to make adjustments again if doing a night ride with pillion.A good rider has balance, judgment, and good timing. So does a good lover!

Yea ! It looks skinny when compared to N250s rear but looks better than the stock R15 tyres, and have no idea bout the cost, would really appreciate if someone could help me out with its grip and on-road behavior as compared to the stock MRFsOriginally posted by neoakshay View PostLooks good, but not as wide as on the Ninja coz of the narrower alloys on the R-15. The only thing standing in your way, the ONLY thing you can count on, at any given time.. Is YOU

1) You don't corner in city roads.Originally posted by RhythmRana99 View Postwhy to put center stand on R15 cornering will suffer.
2) And when you take her to track, it's 5 min job to take it off (main stand). My thoughts are subjected to personal experiences/internet articles. Please read my comment carefully before replying. :)
