  • Finished my chennai-bangalore trip last weekend and I must say the performance of my baby was absolutely flawless...

I have a small query though....

on accelerating, everything felt smooth but on idling the accelerator, without pulling in the clutch lever, I felt a slight vibration in the foot pegs and on the handle bars.....
    Is this normal guys...
    please enlighten me..

    Thanx

i cant understand why people are so obsessed of making R15 to R1 why can't they understand for getting looks and feel of R1 you have to BUY it you have to spend that 13-14 lacs. modifing R15 will only make situation worse.

I think you talking about the clutch bell sound which is normal in R15. Yes the 20P1 and 20P2 models make sound as compared to 38B1. Its normal bro nothing to worry about.

          • Painted the mirrors at home

Finally resolved the paint peeling off the mirror issue today. Bought two cans of aerosol spray paint (matt black) and painted the two mirrors (the mirror stem as well as the base) and exhaust heat shield at home as it had a lot of scratches. I've a feeling that the paint on exhaust heat shield won't last long due to the heat generated from the exhaust, anyways lets see if it lasts and if doesn't then I'll have to replace it with a new one...
Here's a pic of the mirrors after painting:

I'm not talking about clutch bell.
Actually I was talking about the slight vibration in the foot pegs and handle bars when I leave the accelerator bar idle while on the move at about a speed of 70+ kmph...

In my case, there was some scratches on the paint of the real wheel. Better check closely. All the best for your upcoming bike!
