yes u can. but for better results...

but get yourself an emery abrasive sheet. 400 grit.

    lightly scrub down the exhaust.

and then spray a couple of coats (30 minutes apart) of the heat resistant flat black on it.

I've booked a blue R15 and I'm expected to take its delivery on Friday this week.
Regarding the PDI, please add if something I'm missing something from the list

        1. Check for any scratches.
        2. Check for tyre treads.
        3. Lights, horn, indicators, etc.,
        4. Kms run.
        5. Any bends in wheel rim.
        6. Owner manual and other paper stuff.
        7. Tool kit.

And one more thing, there's a STUDDS helmet in the showroom which costs around Rs. 1500/- is it worth it?
I think you have covered almost all the things needed to check before taking the delivery....
The helmet you are talking about,I'm wearing it in my avatar picture and its good. Its comfortable and light weight. Can't get anything better in 1500 bucks....

I've the same chinese HID and ballast, the ballast is well tucked inside the fairing and doesn't have any sort of protection or cover on and it working top-notch, without issues

                          merc E series projectors.

                          price: 600 bucks or so

                          installed them myself.

a decent pair of retro-fit projectors will cost you upto 3500 bucks.

one of my ballast is below the tank and the other 1 is under the speedo console inside the front fairing so they are pretty much protected against rain and water.
