easier way - To use a fuel injection cleaner additive like Pennzoil ( if i spelt it right ) Or else get the fuel injection assembly washed properly at the SVC. Something could have possibly clogged it.
Thanks JD!! lot of things to learn in 4strokes it seems !

    • From the creator of FCU...comes the Wireless Mobile Dashboard...

It displays important information like engine RPM more accurately than meters found in many bikes.
      Top bar - Engine RPM
      Bottom bar - Throttle position
Number on top right - Battery voltage

More features coming - Engine temperature, actual speed (gps based) and other more interesting information... stay tuned

do note that the bike on testing is fz150i (r15 counterpart - tuned down in malaysia)

Well coming to the installation part i would say only experts should handle this firstly remove the headlight assembly and then use heat gun to open the case then paint them black ( I used black spray can ) just screw them were the stock blubs were installed then and reseal the assembly with a special sealant which doesn't let water to enter. And then wiring was done , By then it became night ! That's when i knew the real power of these projectors . When nearing my home i used my pass , which lead to a guy looking up thinking it was lightning .

          Pictures coming soon .

Wow, more info on this please! How does it connect to the bike? Since it's wireless, it'll need a module that hooks up to the bike and transmits to the phone right?

the squeaking sound is also present, its the chain squeaking around the drive gear ( which is smaller than the rear sprocket ), causing it to squeal more since it has to go thru a smaller radius , hence a tighter turn. If your chain has too much lube, the sound will not come.
thanks for the reply jd! (where have you been all this while long time no see?)

you say the ticking sound is normal?
it didn't happen earlier? why is that so, and does it happen to all the bikes?

and the sound isn't a squeak, its more of a whine, like a turbine kinda sound..!

                    • Does anyone know if somewhere can export yamaha parts to australia?

I have had some of my r15 v1 parts stolen (and others damaged in the process) and no where here wants to sell them for less than buying a brand new bike!

                      Would be much appreciated!

Yes, it does have a module to hooks up to the bike.
this is not a finished product yet, but when it does, the 1st bike compatible with it is vixion/fz150i/yzfr15/yzf-r125, since the base of all 4 models is the same.

Member attitude/responses was sad, and I dont really get into conflicts, so I just left for a while.. good to be back though.

Generally yes, it does happen. An hot manifold or head coming back to normal, even silencers do it from time to time.

Get your chain cleaned/checked properly. That should fix the whine.

we need some knowledgeable members around you know
so you better stay put now!

well, about the ticking the regional engineer had come this week, didn't seem to be very knowledgeable but he was murmuring something about some diaphragm making the sound?? made no sense to me (can't say whether he knew what he was talking about himself)

about the whine, the mech too said that it was the chain sound, the same reason you said that it has to go through a smaller radius up front, hence the sound.. i do feel that it is a bit tight got to get it checked..

and bro i read somewhere that you'd tried the FZ rear sprocket, how did that experiment go?
planning a tour to goa 1000kms from where i stay, any tips would surely be handy!

                            thanks again..

p.s. went for the duke after all eh?? nice nice.. :P

                            • R15 stock parts trade

Guys I recently got my R15 V1 Joel'd and running smoothly for past 3.5K kms.

My R15 had done 30K with my stock set up and I wanted to sell my stock parts - stock block, cam, valve springs, silencer, ECU (If advisable to sell) and stock front and rear brake lines. I need help to gain financially out of it. It would be of great help if any of you guys could help me.

I stay in Tambaram , Chennai. Thanks in advance
