Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

You will need to change the upper triple clamp. Your best bet would be to try and source a triple clamp from the Vixion.

      • Thanks Abhi....looks like the FZ triple clamp is same as Vixion ,any idea ?

        • ^^^ possible, though I have no idea if it is the same or not. I do doubt that they are the same. The FZ has larger diameter inner tubes than the R15 so the fork clamps on the FZ triple clamp will obviously be of a larger diameter.

            • My bike has completed 25k kms in 2 years and I'm facing an issue. There is a slight chak chak kinda sound coming from the rear wheel while the bike is in motion. It is not the chain noise as I've kept it in great shape properly cleaned and lubed every 200-300kms. I suspect it is the rubber bushings behind the sprocket. Does anyone has any info on this?

@ satishg, you can drill and put risers on the top triple of your bike if you want a normal handlebar setup. Be aware that you might need new clutch and brake lines as the handle bar will be higher and the cable will need to be longer.
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Bang on target but around bullseye. Its the rear wheel ball bearing hub which is eroding the alloy. Kindly replace it ASAP.

Thanks Parth. i think the best would be then to get a Vixion triple clamp and the cables?

What next-check the tyre fitting? Paint already removed from the inside of both rims&front is not leaking.

Check the tyre walls, the fitment of tyres are proper or no, the air valve and check for any punctures or anything.

Face the same issue on mine too so did a diesel wash to the chain and sprockets removed the rear wheel bearing sprocket, greased it well and left the bike over night to dry and morning applied grease the next dayon the chain and though its a bit messy there was no sound, at all after that and i use even the normal oil which they use for can thing and its doing a good job.
