    Thanks Shanz.. I rectified that sound by myself.. it was my seat problem.. I added few rubbers here and there... now its rock solid.. except for that sound.. coming somewhere from gear when i rev my bike.. above 4-5 rpm...

      Here I paid Rs.350 labor for my 7th or rather 1st paid service&he did everything I asked him to, when I was standing beside him, but when I went out for a smoke asking him to tighten the fairing nuts he gave it a pass!
      Yeah dude! Will get the bearings & suspension greased too. Looks like the 12k service is going to be a huge milestone for the bike
      btw, reg air-filter, the manual says to replace it at 20k, so why do it at 12k? Is there an issue with the stock air-filter quality or something?

      & yeah, most of the mechs are lazy ppl.. They either say some things are not required to be done, or skip doing it when you're not around..

      There were four bikes kept on stage, the FZ16, the V-Max, the 2010 R1 and the R15. Valentino Rossi was asked to choose one amongst the four. Rossi quickly got up and sat on the R15. “I want one of these for me” he told the Yamaha officials! And we went berserk clicking shots of those two having fun on the R15.

        See the manual properly-it says oil filter replace at every 10K kms.on the odo&for air filter&spark plug 12K kms.!
        Quench my thirst with gasoline!

                No, its not a diesel car, lol!
                The manual says replace oil filter at 1st service (1K kms.)&then at 10K kms., 20K kms.&so on.
                Quench my thirst with gasoline!

                  freakzil this is similar to the problem i have , the only difference is that it happens only around 30 km/hr . Let me know if u have it solved!

                    Hey guys...

                    I have a year old R15 and i have shifted to bangalore sometime back from mumbai.

                    It has done around 7000kms. I would like to know 2 things

                    first is it advisable to go for fully synthetic oil and second which is the best service center here in Bangalore for R15?

                        Am sorry if I gave that idea Its just my habit to change the oil filter when I change from Mineral to Synthetic oil!

                          1st paid service

                          Hey guys

                          Am due for the first paid service this weekend.

                          1. Any pointers guidances for what i should be checking.
                          2. Also what is the service i should be paying for/amount i should be paying
                          3. I am facing vibrations issue in 3rd and 4th gears at RPM above 5k-6k and at 6 gear at above 7k. Is this normal or is there something i should be checking out. They have been there ever since the 5th service actually...
                          4. On one side, the grill behind the plastic faring is lost (fallen of on trips on bumpy roads)

                              that's a long interval, as with RTR it's oil filter change with the oil thing...
