No need for SVC centre. The engine light came up, because the tilt sensor sensed that the bike has toppled over, and killed the engine. Its a safety feature in the bike. If still again during normal riding the engine warning light comes, then the bike should be checked.Originally posted by saikrishna050691 View Postguys...

immediately after lifting up the bike i ve seen the 'engine trouble warning light' flashing...bike din start for some time, but i turned off the main switch n after some time switched it on(din see the warning light flash again)....it started normally...
now, is there anything to worry? shud i take the bike to the SVC?
secondly the R15 sticker on the right panel is visibly scratched!!! where can i get a new one? SVC or showroom?

Arre dude, its pretty simple to do the usual maintenance stuff. Physically working hard, getting sweaty and dirty is a small price to pay for work done to your satisfaction and the knowledge of how it works. Striving to achieve that. I bought a new r15 a month and a few days back and it was giving me 22 kmpl after i got the 1st service done I still see no effect and its giving around 24-26. What can I do to improve this?Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

Tell us about your riding habits (what speeds you ride at, what RPMs you shift at), how much is the odo readin, and if you did the run-in as per the manual, and we could be of help then.

I am drive normally at 60 and the current ODO reading is 530. Before 500 Kms I used to shift at 4-5 RPM. but after service was done and 500 kms were touched I shift at 6-7 also sometimes when I dont feel the need to use throttle while moving on a busy street, I pull the clutch fully and let the bike move (RPM 1k. If you are riding at 60 at 4-5k RPM you should be getting best FE. What method are you using to calculate the FE? Are you getting the low FE from before the service you got done at 500KMs?

Dude i know FI runs by itself ... but for your info we can tune the AFR ratio , am just asking here can service guys can do it or not !!!

There seems no problem with the way you are riding. I think you might be calculating the FE incorrectly. Please elaborate on how you are calculating it.
