    This method is ok. Its either that the petrol bunk is cheating you, or your bike seems to have some problem(s).
    It could also be that your bike's tyres are running extremely low pressure. IIRC 28PSI & 33PSI are recommended (as per manual) for the front & rear tyres respectively. Get that checked ASAP too.

    Alternately, try switching to another fuel station for the next refill & FE calculation. If the problem persists, take the bike to the SVC.

        Need Help

        Guys,
        Today morning some thing disaster has happened. When i tried to switch my Bike On today morning The Engine Trouble warning LED light was blinking . i tried to switch it of and try to switch it on again, still the light seems to be blinking. so i didn't start my bike today, kept i as such and came to office in Volvo. Guys what could be wrong, Yesterday ihad washed her and had a small ride after that i.e about 2.5 Kms and During that tiem the Light was not blnking. Please guys throw some light on ithis issue what could be wrong here?

        Can i start the bike and ride to the service center?

          When you go back home, switch on the bike and count the number of flashes it makes.
          It will make x slow flashes, and y fast flashes. These will tell you whats wrong in the bike.
          PS: Can anyone with the service manual put up that list here please?

          I guess most likely it should be a dying battery OR some water seepage.

          For a dying battery, ride it for sometime and check if it charges properly!
          (Try switching headlight, and the turn indicators and try honking... try flashing lights too to check if the battery has any juice left!)

                      Engine trouble warning light fault code indication
                      Digit of 10: Cycles of 1 sec. ON and 1.5 sec. OFF.
                      Digit of 1: Cycles of 0.5 sec. ON and 0.5 sec. OFF.

                      30: Lean angle sensor
                      41: Lean angle sensor (open or short circuit)
                      33: Faulty ignition
                      50: ECU internal malfunction (memory check error)
                      39: Fuel injector (open or short circuit)

                          Open the seat , Remove the ECu and Fit it back again , two min job no tools needed . Dont worry nothing's gonna happen.If still continues , Check all the six sensors on the bike.
                          WIll be a malfunction on any one of them.
