Well, I can blame two things, either the lean angle coupled with incorrect body positioning and or low traction provided by the road.

OH yeah, multi-quote. Sorry, new here

Well, traction maybe. Anyway, that incident led me to want a fatter tire. Not anymore though. It wasn't the tire's the fault, so why punish it

        • @ Leshy : Where and how did you get the G1 Projector kit? Did the angel eyes come with the kit? Cost? Who did the fitting?

I have HID's, but need projectors!

          Thanks in advance

          • hey!

i wonder why yamaha excluded the rear hugger from the list

their is no rear hugger in the r15
            i search for a hugger
the bike gets messed up in rains
            rear hugger is quite useful
any idea about fitting a honda stunner hugger or any other bike's hugger to the r15
i guess stunners hugger would be a direct fit as it has a 17" tyre

            have a look

Is there a hugger on the bike?? I never got past that smokin babe :P

Seriously speaking, I too was looking for a hugger as the little mudflap looks rally out of place and still whenever I have to take my bike out after rains the tire sprays quite a bit of water on-to the traffic behind.

Some people have suggested the stunner hugger, You can try that.
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Oh wow, that body color tire hugger is exactly the thing I've been looking for! Since two months, I've asked various motorcycle parts stores and SVCs for a tire hugger unit that I can put on my R15.
You see, I live in Mysore and when it rains here, it rains non stop for many days :P. Roads have water and the rear wheel just sprays it everywhere! The silencer cover is the first to get completely muddy.

You say the Stunner's tire hugger will fit? But it has rear drum brakes, but in the R15, the same area has the rear discs.... it might block the fitting..

and in that pic, have they snipped off the tail flap?

                • I had made this point sometime back, anyone on this forum has actually carried out hugger from stunner or from any other bike to R15 please post photographs and filament info, alternately someone should make after-market fibre hugger for the bike this will surely will be bought by many.
