Just a tip, Using 2 x 55W light can be an over kill, especially if you ride less.Originally posted by sveetvenom View Postthanx satyen,..i will go in for your suggestion,..i trust your judgement, how much does it cost btw ?
I would suggest you get one Osram nightbreaker or the Philips Night Vision (or something similar) and check if it suits your requirement. A lot of my riding happens in dark nights, hence I chose two of em, and I ride a lot so dont really end up draining battery!
They cost 450 Rs each I guess...Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

Bhai I use 2 phiplips night vision too.But do face battery drain issue whenever i ride completely on high beam.Distance doesn''t matter always is what I have experienced.Hence solution is to try optimising between highbeam & lowbeam.Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostJust a tip, Using 2 x 55W light can be an over kill, especially if you ride less.

Additionally 1 55 & 1 35 W osram will be optimum according to me.sigpic

I was running on a similar setup...Originally posted by darkknight View PostBhai I use 2 phiplips night vision too.But do face battery drain issue whenever i ride completely on high beam.Distance doesn''t matter always is what I have experienced.Hence solution is to try optimising between highbeam & lowbeam.

I have tried
2 x El Cheapos Blue light.... got rid of them in One day!
1 x Stock (low beam) + 1 x Night Vision (high Beam) = by far the most ideal setup...
1 x Night Vision (Low Beam) + 1 x Stock (high beam) = a good setup but doesnt satisfy my needs..
Currently on
2 x Osrams night breakers.... they are very good, and dont drain my batteries!
I guess the only difference is our riding styles.
I ride usually on the low beam, Use the high beam only in Dark areas, and or in case the lights from the vehicles in the opposite lane is too bright!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

Which color R15 do you prefer and why??
Hi guys! Now is the time to tell me about your color choosing experience and the dilemmas that you all faced before going for the final color you selected? Any reasons why you did that?? Now don't tell me that blue is the best... I want variance answer as variety is the spice of your life.

well it all depends on your riding habits dude!!! first learn to ride then rip your comments out here!!!Originally posted by vinoddt1 View PostHey Guys,..
I live in kottayam kerala...last friday..my friend and me,went on a pleasure trip to vagamon(high range..around 85kms from my place) on my R15...Note:he has a karizma....He rode my bike and when we started climbing..the bike started to struggle ..pulling both of us....and he started irritating
me with comments like.." You wasted your money, going for a bike that lacks power..try my karizma out
,experience its acceleration .."... It was true the bike was struggling to pull both of us uphill....
We reached back after the trip...I got my chance to test his highly hyped
(by him) karizma....Rode that for around 2-3mins and the first feeling was LACK OF Confidence
...I was really scared
to take sharp turns at 60-70kmph and was absolutely out of confidence after reaching 80kmph...
Thats when I realised..that I have made a great decision going for R15
...
After that..he rode his karizma himself....and I noticed his face go down
...he had to agree that R15 is a great bike
...
But after all these...I have to say...karizma has a lot of power..to accelerate with both of us on it...but R15 lacks that..and I felt that Karizmas initial acceleration was also better than R15...
I've seen people, saying that R15 has a 0-60kmph time lesser than Karizma...is that really true...because I felt that Karizma was quicker initially....
Anyway I'm loving my bike..its awesome
..and I completed 910 kms in 2weeks(of which, she was resting, covered in the shed for 5days due to rain
)...
And guys...Ist service after completing 1000kms rite???
