Which means IRCs come in 140/70...great news. I heard that IRCs don't come in 140/70. Yeah, Michelin would be nice to have. Had them on my ZMA and was is love with them. With N300 due to enter our country in April-May, our problem of IRCs might be solved. Because I guess N300 has same tyres as CBR250R.

I am sure when you take over a CBR, you'll need a couple of days to adjust to the sporty riding position. That apart, it is very comfortable. The engine smoothness (compared to ZMR) is immediately noticeable.

    For the pillion:
I'll quote my wife here - "It's like a horse - you'll need practice to climb on to it. But once you're settled on the seat, it feels like home!"
Prior to buying the CBR, I had a lot of reservations about the pillion seat - and the long, flat seat of the ZMR was one of the reasons why I was considering buying a ZMR. But after buying the CBR, my reservations were dispelled and I realized that the pillion seat is actually comfortable. Do remember - It is NOT as spacious as a ZMR seat - it's a cozy but comfortable seat.
I owned a ZMA prior to this one and let me clarufy it takes you hardly 100kms to get comfortable with the riding posture. Personally, I didn't find the seats comfortable, specially the pillion seat. In one of my trips, I found the seats a little hard to be comfortable, so planning to add foam to make it extra comfy during long rides.

    • My First query on this thread

Do I turn the headlight adjustment knob Clock-wise or anti-clockwise to raise the beam up?

I bought a few things to pimp up the "Tri-colored Awesomeness"

--- Keiti Tank Pad from Orion Motors for Rs 999 -> Keiti Kawasaki Clear Tankpad TKW-506C - 999.00Rs

--- Roots dual horn for Rs 430.

--- Xenos Firewall 40 Remote lock / Alarm for Rs 800 -> :: 2 Wheeler Alarm with Remote Start Systems ::

I did not mess around with the wiring. The sensor is directly connected to the battery. Neither the indicators nor the engine start feature are connected.

            • Guys,I wanted to ask a question to all CBR owners here..
Actually,i 've booked a ZMR but many people advised me to get a CBR 250 instead.. so i'm confused
Although in terms of power their's no comparison, my main concern is my phsique. I'm 6'2 and a 115kg monster,so considering the height n bulky body,do you think i would be able to handle CBR 250 ? I have read reviews that CBR is a bike best suited for people till 5.8" ,anything above that and you (can) get back problems. The Performance is not a factor i guess.

My main reason for getting a bike is to and fro clg and tutions. So 95% it would be bumper to bumper traffic. Once a month or two,i would be doing 50kms+ ride.
So what do u guys suggest ? Considering my Big Built and Height ,should i go for CBR 250 or stick up with ZMR ?
Please Be frank, as its a lot of investment !!

P.S: went for a TD but it was a really a small one to conclude anything.

But again, it's about personal choice. We both (Me & my wife) both love biking. And I absolutely, absolutely hate the threadbare 'economy hatchbacks' and the sub-four-metre sedans designed to cut taxes. I love cars only when I see them in my rear view mirror!

Moreover, if I'd have preferred cars, I'd be on team-bhp instead of x-bhp!

                Bro,

I also got this suggestion from many people. They dont know the difference between a sports bike and an alto ... Forgive them ...

Going by your description, I guess CBR250 would suit you. I am 5'11 and I don't have to lean too much. Riding position is much more relaed than R15. I owned a ZMA before CBR and happy with this bike. Though I don;t find much difference in both the bikes, others may differ and have different opinion. Below are my inputs :
                  1. Power : ZMR has 17bhp, CBR has 25bhp. Those extra 8 horses with help you do triple digits easily and comfortably.
                  2. Riding position : ZMR is complete upright position whereas CBR has slight forward lean but for your height I don't think you have to lean.
                  3. Looks : This is a subjective topic. So cannot comment.
                  4. ZMR has a centre stand whereas CBR doesn't. Centre stand is helpful while repairing punctures and lubing the chain.

Note : In case I missed something, please add to it people.

I second that idea. Since you're not planning on doing any hardcore riding, I'd suggest you get a C350(Better option than C5) and leasurely thump around.

And cbr does just fine but as you stated that you would ride once or twice a month that too in bumper to bumper traffic then zmr or cbr dosent make sense... pick up a bull and keep thumping... ride her around for rides on weekend.. if you plan any rides or long trips... cbr it is..

                        • Guys I booked CBR 250 yesterday. Opted for tri color.

I was informed by one guy that The Dealer has no stock of CBR 250, but since rest of the dealers in Hyd(forgot whether he mentioned Hyd or AP) has nearly 20 bikes in stock, Honda is not delivering CBR's and asked the dealer to not take bookings.
Later I went and spoke to manager and booked the bike, even he has no info on whether tri color is manufactured in 2013 or not. Some one from Honda is visiting showroom tomorrow, so they will inform me after confirming with him.
I wonder why the Dealer has no info.
Any one has info on 2013 model tri color?

I guess you've misunderstood me. I would be driving the bike everyday for 2-3hrs in bumper to bumper traffic. Only once or twice in a month would be long ride >50kms. So on an avg i would be riding my bike for atleast 30kms on any given day.

Don't know why but i'm not ready for RE Bullet . I don't feel that passion for owning a RE. The amount of maintenance RE Bullet Electra 350 (which originally was a option)or other RE bikes require every month, simply pis*es me off . I'm a fill it,sht it , forget it type of guy and I've heard that RE bikes demand daily attention,be it Loose chain or Clutch problem or others. Dats the sole reason, i shortlisted ZMR inspite of its oddly big fairing which i hate .
