Took my bike for servicing to Sc. Changed the Spark plug, Disc pad, cleaned the air filter, oil changed as well as the oil filter and got the chain cleaned. Also changed the cap of the Spark plug. Total came to about 1420. .

But still i am facing the same proble. My bike does not kick start and if i press self start i have to give a little bit of accelerator to keep it on. Otherwise the bike stalls. Can anyone suggest me what is wrong with the bike.

Did you tell the svc about the problem. If yes, you xan go back and say problem is not resolved.

If you didnt tell them what the problem is and you had asked them to change things on your own, you may actually go and try telling them the problem

May have to do that in a cold start. Or if the idling is set too low

Should the idling be set to 1.5 to 1.3, as suggested in the manual. Also how can we set the idle rpm setting.

In a bike that has run in, the idling is around 1.1 to 1.3 when cold and goes upto 1.5 to 1.7 when hot. Idling speed is set after running the engine for some time.

My bike had the same problem few weeks ago. The bike had few issues and one you mentioned was one of the symptom. After the service the issue resolved.

There was some water clogged in petrol tank, the mechanic cleaned the tank, force air dried and cleaned the carburettor as well.

I am not sure if this is going to help you but I would suggest to check the carburettor and the engine idling as well. I like to keep the idling at 1.3 when the engine is cold.

                    Thanks for the reply buddy.

What kind of problem did your bike face, since mine does not kick start and also when i self start it i have to give some acceleration. My idling speed is around 1.3k and i also got the carburettor cleaned during my last service.

Hi, Yesterday I rode 65 km after the fuel indicator bar starts blinking. When I was about to reach my home I felt some power loss. Today I went to fuel station and filled petrol for Rs. 200, but bike still have some issues. The RPM is not reaching above 4000 and if I apply accelerator more than 1/4 turn, the engine tends to cough and bike jumps irregularly. Any one had similar experiences?. Please help.

The bike was left in the rain for long and I don't have a petrol tank cover. While opening the tank lid, some water had gone inside. The ignition choke cable was jammed and the engine idling would increase automatically at times.

Did you try using the kick start after driving for a while when the engine is hot? Is your idling 1.3 at cold engine?

Mine too has the same issue. The idling speed would increase rapidly. Especially when it is turned fully right.

Opened carburettor and found this - I cleaned carburettor and now bike reaches 85KM/Hr Max. Don't know why?. Any idea from you guys?.

The Handling has been better. easier to lean and better grip.

Get your Carburetor tuned. That is the only problem causing it and your attachment is not working.

                                Here is the pic.
There was this brown colored fluid inside the carburetor. It evaporated after a few minutes.

I am planning to clean it again thoroughly. I think at 4000 RPM some particular circuit in the carburetor becomes active. I could feel something like that while riding. I will check it next time while cleaning.
