    Hi All,

Can anyone please suggest good white light headlamps. I'm kinda noob in this field. What does H3,H4 numbers represent?

My budget is around 1k. I want to change the main headlamp & pilot lamps with white lamps & also want to convert light system to full DC. How much will be the cost to convert to full DC?

    Thanks in advance.

At last got my speedometer console replaced from the service center. That too free of cost under warranty. When i contacted them 3 weeks back , they didnt had stock and told me to come 2 days later. But i got busy with some other stuffs and it was not able to go to service center.

Last saturday, gave my bike for 7th service. total amount 550 . Got the console replaced, screeching sound from disk gone, smoother gear shifts. . and the new console showed 1.4 KMS on ODO, Trip A and Trip B meters...

:@ these guys are so careless that they made scratches on the cain cover. noticed it later only

Today morning when I was coming to office in my GS-150 R an accident occurred in the near Park Circus connector, all cars and bikes are coming towards Park Circus Connector using AJC Bose Road fly over, as there was a red signal a long car queue was waiting for green signal, and all bikes one by one going toward Park Circus Connector by taking left side of Road(flyover). Suddenly one car opened a left door and a motorcyclist who was in Royal Enfield hit that door, now they are shouting on each other, at time Signal opened and Car driver ran the car, poor motor cyclist could not catch the car as they are trying to escape. But all motor cyclist including me who were watching the incident followed that car and in the next signal before 4No. Bridge of Park circus they noticed the cops about incident but suddently the signal opened and again car escaped towards science city. But all motor cyclist followed that car and in the next signal, we bring the cops and told about the incident. Now he could escaped and catched by Calcutta Police, we all motor cyclist told cops about the accident and finally he was under the sadow of law.

Three cheers for the unity of all motorcyclist, this unity make us different from others and proudly I can say that I am a biker.
          Thanks

And FOUR cheers if you all decide to not overtake through the wrong side.

This is the first time we are hearing about this kind of issue on a GS. Definitely get the bike checked at the SC before replacing any part.

Charging the GS battery using Desktop UPS seems to have worked.

The charge was ON for around 20 hours.

Now Self-start and indicator buzzer is working as normal. But not sure how long it will run.

Beleive this could happen only in kolkata. In other places, we see a lot of unity only amongst auto and bus drivers.

I will request all XBHP members of anywhere, I learned biking and many thing from this forum from senior members of this forum, this forum inspired me many times. I shared my experience as because no one would ever say he did not see unity. Always help bikers if you found him in a problem on road.

Don't break local road rules, Its our unity which make us different from others, I think true biker is a different species of planet. See one day every one will say yes, he is a biker.

Biking is my passion its works like a meditation on me.

Was going through the Trigger Ownership thread - looks like one gentleman has wobbling issues that is still unrectified after 5-6 visits to SC. Looks like Honda too lacks in factory QC . Unicorn thread was as usual busy with people asking prices of spares like piston and cylinder heads. Joy thread was a joy for its technical content! Also visit the Yamaha india site - they have killed the instrumentation of SZ-RR (old design was way better!).

My Castrol Go is still going strong.

With due respect to traffic rules although right is the right side to overtake, the car drivers nowadays tend to drive in the middle of the road leaving little space to overtake if there is traffic on both sides and because of that left is the only side that is left for us two wheeler riders.

In cities, the left side of the road is filled with parked vehicles or potholes and pits dug up to lay or repair cables and water pipes.

Hwnce a lot of people includong me choose to drive on the right side. It is not a problem if you maintain the average speed on that road.

Bangalore has very different challenges where anything and everything is on the roads, there is absolute anarchy so its a bit challenging to ride on any side

I think Suzuki has also dumped Candy Max Orange.

                              New red colour introduced?

If so, why at this point of time ? Its almost year end. They could have done this on the 2014 model. by the way it looks really good in Red color

When i drive in my native, i will never overtake through the left side. only exception is when in 4/6 lane roads where the truck drivers, or those with 4 wheelers drive slowly through the right lane.

In bangalore, its not always possible to overtake through right side. You can see the BMTC buses (not VOLVO. normal buses) going through the right lane. same is the case for water tankers, JCB or cars. they just wont move to left side. So the only option is to overtake trough the left side.

but most of the time , i will try to overtake through the right .. if not possible the left side is preferred.. i will suggest others also to do the same thing.
