Turtle MRP is approx 250, but I got it for lesser. Waxpol tin should be quite cheaper than both.6 Speed Cruising >>--->>--->> Flying In Heaven

guess they will replace it with parts from the 4-5 gs150's parked inside. some of them are like dismantled and kept there too.Originally posted by vivek_k_p View PostHi All,
I gave my bike for service last week @ Aryan SC.
During service SC guys agreeed on replacing hangle bar and front shock absorber. They told that parts will be available within 2 days and will give a call then.
Not receiving call even after a week time, I contacted them today.
Still they singing the same song
They agreed to replace parts of other bike, if they don't get them from dealer. Is that ok? Does it really take too much time?
may be they are experimental bikes
guess its ok to get parts from those though.
which part of the shock absorber is rusting for you ??
so i can check my bike too.

Your only hope in ABT chennai also is gone and would be untraceable from Monday sir!!!!!
Today i saw one blue GS tank being replaced in ABT Chennai due to Rusting.. Mr. Srini is that yours???
Spoke to Mr. Vinod Natarajan today
Will be in Chennai on Tuesday... Spoke to Him about the various problems in my bike.. /Has assured that will be sorted out when he is there in chennai
Lets hope for the best
I lost hope about ABT...
Nobody in the service section seems to be responsible...
Too much of politics within ABT... Whatever the customer is not benefited..
I suggest u to contact Mr. kalyan, SMK Porur... He was in ABT till last month and had to quit out of there... Believe me, he is very initiative and too responsible.. Actually Mr. Vinod Natarajan Recommended me to contact him..

Strangely, I could not find them anywhere in Nana Peth. The 3M bottle I got from an auto shop called Swamiraj. Its approx opp. S P College. Turtle can be had from a car accessories shop on J M Road. Its called Geeta or something similar. Waxpol you should be able to get at many places. But that particular variant may not be easily available. Remember to get the variant I mentioned only. Try asking them to order it, if not in stock. You could try Regal Motors opp. Kulkarni Petrol Pump for this.Originally posted by Shadowfax View PostHey where do u get it in Pune ? i have no idea about tools. mostly they wont give that under warranty unless you know the people at the SC. then they may take some extra tools and replace it.Originally posted by speed deamon View Posttoday while tightening some nuts and bolts 2 tools got damged, a wrench and spanner i wanted to know whether they will give new tools which got damaged
but tools shouldn't cost too much to buy anyway. guess 100 max.
water would obviously go to the bottom of the tank. as long as the fuel knob is in off or on position, nothing will happen for sure as petrol and water wont mix.Originally posted by speed deamon View Postone more question today i washed my bike and after sum time i opend fuel tank lid then suddenly 4-5drops of water got into the tank wat i shud do does it effect my bike engine or tank or shud i neglect it plzz tell me
when it comes to reserve it depends on how the tank was designed.
in most bikes the last 0.5-1lt of the tank is not useable. if thats the case with gs150 then water wouldnt enter the carb. and hence no damage would occur.
guess you can neglect it for now. during next service tell them about it and they'll drain all the petrol and put only the petrol on top of the jar without the water, i guess
one thing i've learned is, never open the fuel tank lid if ur bike has got wet due to rain or washing. water stays in that gap b/w lid for atleast few hours after rain has stopped.
keeping bike on side stand helps to drain out the water faster. theres a drain hole in the side of that intermediate place b/w lid and tank.

Hi friends....
I finally got my Grey GS on Saturday from Ibays Hyderabad. Here are my first experience about my new GS.
Once they delivered the bike they scratched the tatoo and I got 4001 RS. So I got the my GS at 64,381. Sales person told that the one person got free bike at another showroom.........I was pretty happy for what ever I got...
I just tookt the bike out of the showroom. I was feeling the weight of the vehicle.........but when I rode it, it all have disappeared....
First I took the bike to the temple nearby. There was a shocking surprise for me there..I got out of my Bike and tried to lock it......My god.....it was not locking. It was like it got stucked. I felt bit tensed and was feeling ok as the showroom was only few hundred metres from temple. After finishing the poojas, i took it back to showroom.......There the mechanics told that the handle has to be shaked a little while lock....the process was something like this...
1. Press lock 2. Slightly move the handle my simultaneously turning the lock to the left......
They assured me that it is the same for all GS. But it will be great if some of you can confirm this point?
Then I took my bike for a drive. It was really great to drive. Gear changing was too good without much noise....I was really feeling the power of engine. With winimum throttle position I was able to reach 50KMPH.
Horn of this bike is a big ++++. Thats too good...............
I went to shell pump for fuelling and filled 14 litres. Earlier the sales person told that there is 1 litre already in the bike. So now the tank must be having 15 litres......Indicator was showing full....
Brakes and suspension were also good....did not fell any jerk in small pits......
Vibration at 3.5 k seems like to be the identity for genuine GS. I was also feeling it. I was expecting this as I came to know from others owners in xbhp......so no surprise in that area...
I was driving at 5th gear inside the city and when I came out of the city I shifted to 6th gear.......Man it was great....no sound or noise from engine........The bike climbed to 60kmph before reaching 4500 rpm. The indicator was blinking since I had set it earlier to ECO mode....So I was driving in between 4000 and 4500 rpm.
My friends were also very much impressed by the bikes smoothness and looks.......There were asking why suzuki is not giving proper promotions for their product.
I personally felt that it was far better than unicorns and pulsars.
I purchased a full cover for my bike which costed 248 Rs.....
I think suzuki has built it great......
Today I have completed 100 kms. I will post you more details and driving experience down the time........
